Hmm, making him do the hip thrust I would probably charge somewhere between 100-200 dollars, depending on how long and complicated I was planning on making it.

OK -coughs- well looks like my rents not gonna be payed this month lol. Seriously tho that's damn expensive 2OO bucks that's like my wages for 4 days. I guess ya gotta pay for quality.

I was thinking a short,coz its only the hip thrust i mean something like that can be looped like a walk cycle i dunno you're the expert i don't even know what size, medium size probably. I would want it in black and white with all the details from that picture.

Haha true it is expensive! But this can easily take up to a day maybe 8 hours of my time if not more. Which in animation a pretty common salery per week is about 1000 bucks for 40 hours of work. And even though it would be a cycle, it is traditionally done which takes time.

Also even though it would mostly be the hip movement, every other part is most likely going to be moving to (well at least the way I'm invisioning it there will) to make it look good there would have to be some nice follow through on the hair, and tail to work with all that movement.

Yep you're totally right. man animators must earn a butt load a money. so yeah sounds good to me 2OO bucks.

Haha, not tooo much, enough to make a decent living, considering thats before tax and even before tax its only 52,000 per year considering the animator has a job for a whole year, most contracts seem to be around a year long or shorter from what I've seen.

Cool, I'm not sure when I will get to this animation, as I've got a pretty full plate as is. I'm working on a lip synch animation for a compitition which would surely do wonders for me if I were to even come close to winning. As well as having some studio freelance work shoveled my way. And trying to storyboard a short film I plan on getting done in the next 2 years. But I'll try and squeeze the hip thrust in there somehow.
