The only really awesome parts are the big cities. Out in the boonies & hallers we have nothing to do but hang around walmart or sit at home on the internet.
Really I spend all my time either at home or at school. A trip to the lower half of the state for a weekend convention for me was such a change. It was like a HUGE ADVENTURE. I'm sure you probably get to see things everyday over there that would make me go into shock from over exposure to awesome.

i don't know, really...it's actually pretty normal around and there's no such thing as a convention scene as far as i know :S

Mostly like that here. If we don't have a car we don't go anywere. Most places are to far to walk so just stay home. You have to drive a few hours to get anywere near a convention. But really its kinda nice in a way. If you live far away from anything and don't get to go out much then you enjoy it more you get to go places. A trip to the mall is like going to wonderland to me even if I haven't got money to spend. Plus I don't mind as long as I get to see my friends everyday at school.
lol I just relized that this is literally the longest conversation I've had over the internet with someone I hadn't met in real life in a long time. I'm more of a lurker. I don't usually socialize.

we have a pretty good public traffic service around here, so we're able to get around pretty easily.
I live directly inside of a city, 3 mins away from my school by foot and around ten minutes by foot to the next mall, so yeah I don't have these problems O:

Yeah living in the city is great but only in a good neighborhood. When I did live in the city it was in a bad area so I was too afraid to go outside.

my neighborhood's alright, but since it's in front of the most important bus station in the town, it can get a little dangerous at night since all the drunks and hobos are around there.

Well were I live now isn't a suburb or anything. there are a few loonies around here but hey its WV, we are famous for couch burning and other strange activities. At least now I can walk around alone and not fear getting mugged.
