Bio
A young man with a love for finding fossils and precious Gems. He spends most his time mining or spending time traveling. The silver hair and eye color are hard to miss with him and he is known for his love of steel type pokemon. Once a Champion in the hoenn region, but now retired to a life of traveling just like those he met not too long ago. More of a solitude type, but still enjoys the company of those who would give it to him. If you ever go looking for him, do not try his house in Mossdeep City. He's most likely not there. The man is very fond of jewelry and steel objects. Despite being a huge enthusiast for the mining world he is also a pokemon trainer believe it or not. His current most valued object is his key stone which he keeps pinned like a lapel to his suit jacket.

The end. That's all that could be said. Everything, everyone, every being, and every soul, shall perish in the flames of death and destruction. This was the end. The final frontier. "GRAAAAAAHHH!!!" Magma had reawakened the legendary pokemon. Worse, they returned the large being back into it's primal state. With the anger that hadn't subsided since millions of years ago, the giant explosive pokemon pummeled through the waters, sizzling what laid under it's feet. The lava that seeped from it's seams of it's body hardening the liquid. Pokemon suffering and the red orange skies that followed behind it was nothing more than the true definition of a Hell. Opening it's mouth, Primal Ground bursted a large explosive beam instantly dissolving water from the ground and creating land once again. Right this moment, there was one thing he wanted the most. One simple thing he wanted to resume. His fight with his arch enemy. To finally destroy the other legendary of Hoenn. People screaming and crying on the land trying to escape the land without much success of getting to the other side of the island. "GRAAAAAHHHH!!!"

Ah, beautiful, beautiful, Hoenn... well... to others at least. This was just an illusion to him. Stepping onto foreign grounds with a brief case in his hand, he adjusted his thin black tie and brushing off his black business jacket. Cyrus stared in front of him for a moment, dazed in a stance for the while before looking around. Face, emotionless, expressions non existent. "Excuse me, are you by chance from here?" his voice was rather pleasant in a calming manner. His face giving a faint small smile.

"Hm?" Steven turned around to see such a well mannered and dress man. The lack of expression was obvious but through his eyes he could tell he throughly enjoyed what he saw.... well that's at least what Steven got out of it. "Hello Visitor, I indeed do live here for the time being. Welcome to Mossdeep City! Is there anything at all I could help you with?" the silver hair was pushed by breeze. Steven could of sworn he seemed familiar, but he couldn't but his finger on it. Otherwise he was more then happy to help any new comer to this area. Especially being of that of high stance and taste as himself.

"Yes, I could need some assistance. You see, I'm the head master of the Sinnoh Mythical Philosophy association. You see, I've been doing some research through my times and I've heard about this concept of what seems to be known as 'Primal Reversion'. I was wondering if there are any sort of facility associated to such a concept. It's my duty as the head master to keep on track with certain topics relating to origins and myths of the world for my club." Cyrus took a moment to look around for a while, taking in the sight of this... Mossdeep City. His eyes reverted to the male in front of him as he seemed to be a little dazed in thought before blinking reverting to a smile.

Keeping a smile despite all the words flowing out of the other's mouth, he just seem to be strictly on his own time schedule. Which Steven could totally respect and understand his curiosity of Primal Reversion and the inner-workings of it. Though he couldn't say there was a specific facility here in Mossdeep City. "Sinnoh? That'd explain quite a lot! You're just as curious as I am about these things. Aren't you just as curious about mega evolution?" shaking his head after seeing the other smile he bowed and got mad at himself in his head for getting caught up in what the man was saying and not introducing himself. "I'm Steven Stone by the way, I would love to aid you on your adventure here in Mossdeep City. I can't really say there is a certain place dedicated to such a thing here, but I do know about it to an extent myself." still in the process of figuring out the whole thing himself, he loved adventures and knowledge and this formal looking visitor seemed to peek his interest.

"Why, yes I am. Though I have some information from faculty of mine who have ventured to the Kalos region back a while ago. While we have a bit more of insight upon the mystics of mega evolution, the more information we can collect, the better it is for the society so we can share this news to the world." he replied added on. "Ah, so you're Steven. Well it's a pleasure to meet you, my name is...." Cyrus wasn't exactly sure if he should reveal his actual name. He'd have to bite the bullet for this one. "Cyrus. Yes, this place does hold a rather fondness to our primitive motivation. Would you mind if I could interview you for a while? Maybe a few questions upon your acknowledgment of these sorts of changes in the evolutionary line of pokemon?" Despite his voice being slightly dull, it was rather professional and calm. Almost like that one historian where people ignore the words, yet are soothed by the tone of voice.

Resting his chin on his fist in thought, that name sounded too familiar. Thinking back to his recent visit with Cynthia, he could of sworn she mentioned something about him. Though he couldn't recall if it was bad or good, but he wasn't one to not give the benefit of the doubt. Snapping back to reality he saw that he seemed interested him as well. Which is good when it's  mutual, it makes ends for both very simple. "Of course i'd do an interview with you Cyrus!" his giddiness and readiness seemed to empower those around him with the same excitement, but he could tell his new 'friend' was a bit strange to that of emotion. Nothing more then he loved was talking about pokemon, especially unknown or ancient things, sometimes people compared him to a fact machine when he really got into it. It's probably why he can't even recall who this was due to his ability of talking so much. "I'd agree, I think that your best bet is in this region for gaining knowledge. I am still trying to full understand the power of mega evolution. I've just reclaimed my spot as champion here in Hoenn." (haha, totally true. Steven is easily lost in thought and Cyrus's voice doesn't help.)

Cyrus continued to stare at the other seeing he was puzzled. Crap. He probably knew about him. It wasn't until he calmed down upon it, almost forgetting entirely, that he grinned once more. Success. "It's nice to know that this region of Hoenn has such a wonderful champion such as yourself, now. One who can fulfill the role of a historian intellect, I presume?" He reminded him a little of Cynthia. Which made him annoyed internally to himself. "Good, well, would you mind if we settle down right here? This bench will do good enough." replied. Sitting down, he opened up his brief case. Of course, to his eyes only, there was more than what a usual brief case included. Pulling out a small microphone, he got the recording device ready before handing the microphone to the other. "All you have to do is place this on, and await for when I begin, alright?" he spoke in a rather professional manner. Adjusting the one he had for himself on him, he prepared a little more. "Are you ready to begin, Steven?"

Taking a seat next to the man and turning so that they were facing each other perfectly and doing as told with the microphone. Finding this a bit particular to be interviewed the second he met someone, but then again he was interviewed a lot for being well known to Hoenn. Feeling like an attraction would suck to most if you weren't a people person. Steven definitely was a people person, no one could argue that.  Taking a breath quickly in only to open his eyes with rather strong determination to do as best as he could for Cyrus to explain what he knew and as much as he could from what he has found out himself. "Ah, yes. I am ready for anything you might have to throw my way!" with saying that he clasped his hands together and let them rest on his lap in eager await for the man's questions. Finding it nice that they both dressed so professionally, it almost seemed like a planned meeting. This was amusing to him and himself alone, not bothering to speak up about that strange thought.

"Alright, one last thing. Please understand that I know this interview seems rushed. But my time here is limited. Our organization prefers to run on a timely schedule that keeps our processes in an organized manner. This is not because we don't want to sit and chat, but rather, we want to get as much information from multiple sources of well informed people about these topics. Think about it as..." it took him a moment to think "a scavenger hunt. Limited time and limited movements; each area a specific amount you need to focus on otherwise you waste opportunity for something else that could be found." Cyrus sighed a little to exhale his breath. "So with that explained, we shall begin. First question, please explain in what you are aware of, the definition of mega evolution and primal reversion. You are eligible to take a few moments in between each defined term if you so choose to allow it." he already pressed record, awaiting a response from the champion.

Steven nodded at all this and decided that he'll do his best not to go off rail or too into detail if he can help it. It seemed very intricate and well managed interview so far by the curious Cyrus. Taking a quick glance to a building beyond Cyrus's head in thought. Being rushed was a matter of putting what was important first and of non-importance last or even provided. "Well, first off. To gain sight of such a magnificent transformation. You first need what is called a 'Mega Stone' which aren't too easy to come by." taking another breath in though making eye-contact back with his interviewer. "I-" he was about to get off track and corrected himself. "Which provides a stronger form for this pokemon to evolve into. A mega version of their former self." he softly laughed. "I've learned that even types, abilities and other such things can be changed through this form of evolution, it's quite remarkable ability to use to your advantage!!" Trying to keep this simple was very hard, there was so much he wanted to add on and decided he'd make one last add on to that. "There are even many unknown pokemon out there who we don't know of that can mega evolve. I guess we're all still figuring that one out." his voice seem to get high a lot when he got to the more exciting parts of what he was talking about. "Now, to Primal Reversion." re seating himself a bit and brushing a finger against his rings in a sort of nervous way he took a few moments to try to think through how to put this one now. "Hmm, well now I've learned that instead of using energy of those around them... like pokemon or people... in the case of mega evolution, PRIMAL evolution... or Primal Reversion as you say. Well, that takes the pokemon to take all the surrounding nature's energy which is ten fold more powerful then what mega evolution can achieve. It's like taking the pokemon back to it's prehistoric roots before it was weakened by evolution and time." he tried to explain that bit to the best of his extent. "Much is still unknown about both of these and why they happen and how to make it happen.... But it's quite amazing don't you think?! It's only been recently discovered here in Hoenn about the Primal Reversion. There is a lot more information out there that is waiting for discovery." with that he finally decided he'd quit speaking and let the other take it in or ask more questions of him if needed.

"That's nice. So Mega evolution is a step forward upon the evolution chain based on, as you stated, uses energy based upon humans or pokemon? As for Primal Reversion, it's based upon the powers of the energy that's surrounding the area. Per say Mega evolution and Primal Reversion are both different in association to the energy sources coming from one another, correct? As you stated, could this also be extended, with Primal Reversion, to pokemon of older form of which it once held. Usually for example, based upon the history of this place and current events, we have witnessed a Primal Reversion between Groudon and Kyogre. Both legendaries of the land and sea. If this is the case, would it be possible that if legendaries have resorted back to a form once understood long ago, that other legendaries that have been associated with the dawn of time or per say, those that have been around long enough before humans existed, that this kind of process could be potentially possible?" Cyrus tilted his head a bit. His lap holding the brief case, recording every bit of data and already being transferred back home via wireless signals; to his headquarters back in Sinnoh.

Putting his chin on his fist again while listening to the other, he sure liked to talk a lot more then himself. Well, it was a lot to keep up with at least.  "Yes, you can say that. Actually, I think you're pretty on spot with what I was explaining." nodding and then only to think that maybe he was on to something. "I do believe that most of the Legendaries should have such a form, they must of at one point been something stronger with a different environment at the time." he shook his head. "It's really one of those things we don't know for sure yet." Steven blinked at the sheer 'to the point' personality the other had. To be honest, he was getting a little suspicious, but that wouldn't stop him from talking to the other. "Is there any other questions or things that I could possibly go over with you?"

"Um, yes, there's one more. Then that should be all." Cyrus smiled slightly to the other. "Primal reversions, a stone is seemed to be needed as the same for the mega evolution ones. One triggers the other between powers that are assumed to be something we don't fully understand. But as mentioned that the energy through xyz sources, it's safe to assume that there are some sort of connections between these primal reversion minerals. No? This is based upon the cycle of how minerals and rocks can be refurbished or recycled from the stages of metamorphic, sedimentary and igneous stages."

Furrowing his eyebrows in what he was trying to understand from the last bit the other said. "Actually if I think about it. I think you're right. I Think the pokemon of where you hail may also have primal versions. Don't they both possess a stone as well?" referring to diamond and perl attributes. "I know for a fact that there was a red orb and a blue orb that helped these two pokemon here achieve that form, but apparently you do not need these orbs for these pokemon to get into this form. I think Dialga and Palkia also have these reversion forms, but that is only a thought into connection that they also been around for a very long time." Rummaging through his pocket he decided to continue. "Also, Mewtwo transforms with a mega stone, but does not have a Reversion. Which leads most to believe that man made pokemon probably won't have such a thing and since, well man is newer the pokemon. There won't be primals for such pokemon, possibly not even Legendaries like you said, that recently pop'd up. I believe a majority of them are old... such as maybe OH-HO Lugia and the three legendary birds, maybe not the dogs, because they were quite recent too. "I don't know that much, but these are all just theories and well... thoughts. Some actual facts, but it's all a waiting game unfortunately." Going back to the last question. "I'd say that might be a safe guess. There might be even more colored orbs then the three that we know of. Red, Blue and Jade. I hope I answered you correctly, if not gave more insight into what I have thought or know."

Idealistic--Utopia In reply to steelrings [2016-10-16 23:06:42 +0000 UTC]

"If we also look at Rayquaza, it's also been historically documented recently, that there has been such a mega stone for it. Yet, no primal reversion stone. So it leads me to assume, that if a legendary historical pokemon or pokemon descended from an ancient time, one that is not recent or man made; that there can be primal reversions for them as well. It would be an assumption that if one has ancestors of an evolutionary chain, not related in their forms as they mature; but rather one over time through millions of years, they too can do the same. In the end, those that seem to be of an older living experience, such asLugia, Oh-Ho, Palkia, Dialga, Giratina, etc. can possess these primal reversions. It makes me wonder of where they are. Such an historical piece of time..." he dazed off as if he was questioning himself. With that, he pressed the off button, which ended the conversation and had been audio recorded back to the Team Galactic headquarters back in Sinnoh. With more information upon these stones, it became a clear target of a next phase of what to do. With the four commanders in charge while Cyrus was out, their goals were to find and locate the possible existence of these items that can revert the two, or three possibly; legendaries back to a form. Time was still needed here and other regions of the world. Their mission wasn't done and it wasn't going to be for a long time. Not with what Cyrus had in store. "Thank you for your time Steven, I'm glad that things went as smoothly as possible." he smiled and helped the other with disconnecting his microphone as well as his own. "I know some things seemed rushed or straight to the point. But our association, respectively, prefers to stay on topic so things don't dabble on. Just as a way so we can document things properly and neatly so they can be recorded for the future. Like taking notes in a classroom." Cyrus tried his best to come up with... not EXACTLY a lie. It was being recorded and documented. Just... not in the way it was assumed. "This place surely seems to have a lot of interesting things to do around here.

"Anytime my friend, thank-you for having such a exciting conversation to me. It fascinates me to see what others have to say about certain predicaments such as these." standing up himself he also handed the mic over when he helped him take it off. Dusting himself off lightly and bowing in a sign of appreciation for taking the time to talk to him.  "I highly appreciate this opportunity and I sure do hope it has helped both of us further our knowledge on such things." Tilting his head after the comment of recordings and notes being compared to what they have said... he just sorta shrugged it off. "That's quite interesting I suppose, as long as it's being studied then there will be more information spread... eventually the truth. At least we can hope to find the truth to such questions." Steven found it a bit odd that he was the first to be recorded and now the man seemed off in a hurry to leave so quickly? That was a bit strange, though now he was determined to spend more time with him, finding his intellect quite entertaining to say the least.  "OF COURSE! There's quite a lot of things to be done here Cyrus! Such as visiting the space center! Wailmer watching, Diving, Fishing, Surfing and all other neat stuff. It's really a small place of wonder and it's certainly not a place you'd wanna pass out! It's one of the few places I decided to call my 'Home away from home'. he mused. "I'd be honored and happy if you'd let me take you around?"

Wailmer watching, diving, fishing, surfing.... all something that was no purpose to the extents of his goals. Certainly by the time the other could see on his face, he was not the kind to do such activities, whether known of his true goals or not at all of whom he was secretly as. "Oh..." he spoke for a moment. "I am well aware of these things, I have friends who have recently been here before. They too, were interested with some historical education and some activities that relate to being involved in this region. I am sure that as the champion of this region; can understand the credentials of keeping such a role. The amount needed in being an idol to trainers that come and go. To be the one who looks after the place and to keep yourself occupied in news nationally and globally. In a sense, sort of a... protector. Therefore, you can also say that such tasks as someone as a role model can be applied to such jobs as a cop or a detective. Yes, vacation time and such leisure experiences come with due time; but not when things are quite in a conflict. This being of my goals and dreams of spreading such news of what could change the world for the better. You, yourself seem to be of high influence to seem extremely motivated in showing me around of culture and vast life style with desires of achieving a happy experience. Such a feeling can be applied to me with my job. While it's nothing personal and rather more of desired result of achieving my goals as to yours, I too, have things to accomplish. I hope that this is making sense to you. Reporting such events related to mythology and rumors is a strong deep passion of mine. More than a hobby, it is my job and my life's goal and dream work. Yes, things seem a bit weird and undesirable to most of being used for one thing only before having being left afterwards, but there is more to this project of mine than what it seems. Big goals come in small steps, and this, is one of many multiple small steps." Cyrus showed a rather more professional attitude at this time. Sadly to say, there are such things as people who cannot see leisure time or vacation time as what it means. Instead work is truly caught up, and that was the perfect illusion that could cover up his true intentions as possible to the other. "I will promise you this, if you give me, let's say... three days, I will be honored-" how his internal mind cringed with dissatisfaction of such a term "if you do give me a tour. My room will be at the nearest hotel. I shall be able to see you then in free due time." His smile which showed to be a bit bigger than the previous time, tried to reassure the other from digging too deep into about suspicion.

Water Wings Hmm...well, I don't know how much you know about the show, but if a gem's body takes too much damage, they're forced to retreat into their gems.  They literally 'poof'.  And then, after a while, they regenerate...imagine Steven finding a poofed Lapis Lazuli on the beach or something...

-----

Now, Lapis may be exceedingly powerful when in the presence of water, she certainly isn't invincible.  And this is proof of that...whatever happened.  She was in an unfamiliar world...and all she could remember was something big slamming into her before she vanished in a puff of light blue smoke.  And here she is now...inside her gem on the ground, trying to recover.  She doesn't realize how much a stone the color of the night sky can stand out here.

OH I LIKE THIS IDEA! Sorry took me forever to get back to this muse ;;v;; I'll try my best to understand as long as you explain things friend!

Steven thought tonight was a perfect night to watch the stars from the shore line of Mossdeep city. A city of quite aspiring dreams and wonder, anything could happen in Mossdeep city if you put your mind to it. Being a Charismatic and spontaneous down to earth guy, being outside wasn't a biggie, in fact it's one of his favorite places to be. Shutting the door to his cottage him and locking it, he decided to take a stroll straight down the sandy hills and into a sand barish area that didn't have deep water. Sometimes he'll find precious and rare things, but that was super rare to find. Once finding a few Cloyster shells or the occasional Sharpedo teeth. Anything was treasurable enough to keep in his eyes, especially if it was ancient or out of place. Steven was about to do his routine whenever he comes here, but instead he saw something glint from the moon light near the water line. If he wasn't quick enough it could get carried back out to sea. Not taking any chances he picked up the precious rock and immediately fell in love with it. The way it sparkled in the moon light was almost invigorating. Dusting off the sand and mud that clung to it's surface, he realized it was more then just any rock. Immediately after finding it he decided to take it home and set it on a soft pillow on a desk, where he'd clean it off and put it in a special display box. He hasn't seen a Lapis in a long time... for one to just wash up was astounding find. Steven decided to take a seat on his bed and just shut his eyes for a bit, unbeknownst to him, he fell asleep sitting up.

This will be interesting.  Had it been a container made by another gem, Lapis wouldn't have been able to reform.  But, this wouldn't be too much for her to handle.  A few hours passed before anything happened - the teardrop shaped stone began to glow and literally levitate into the air.  The box lifted into the air with it.  The light gradually grew brighter, and then there's a loud burst that shatters the box.  Light pours from the gemstone, warping into a humanoid shape - a feminine figure with a long dress.  And as the light finally dies down, Lapis is revealed in her full form.  Though, she instantly falls to her knees - she's only been poofed once before...and that regeneration took a lot out of her as well.  Luckily, in this case, she wasn't trapped in her gem for nearly as long.  Just be thankful he managed not to crack her gem in the process...that would have been disastrous.

Water Wings All kinds of weird stuff can happen when a Gem is cracked...and Cracked!Lapis is...kinda creepy.

The steel type user's eyes shot wide open at the sound of glass bursting and using his arms to cover his face from any shards that came his way. Jumping to his feet to see an elegant looking humanoid, was it a Pokemon . Suddenly he ran to he's desk and pulled out a note book writing down her features and the face she came out of a lapis stone... At least that's what he assumed and he stared in utter awe. "H-Hello...?" He managed out of excitment and fear. Steven wasn't sure he should draw any closer or further so he stayed about 10 feet away from her to see what she'd do after such an entrance. His hand was shaking on the paper still as he wrote down her skin tone.

Lapis stayed still for a moment before deciding to stand up.  He might notice that the gem was now embedded in her back.  She stood there in silence, looking around until her eyes fell on him.  And then she turned to face him, stepping back as she did, "W-Where am I?" Her voice was a bit shaky, "Who are you?"  He...seemed civil enough.  Of course, she could never be too careful.  She vaguely remembered something ramming into her before she was forced into her gem...and while she did not assume that he was behind it, she wasn't about to rule him out, either.

Taking a quick leap forward with some of the movement he could muster and decided to respond to her to hopefully shower her that he meant no harm. "HELLO! I am Steven Stone! Nice to meet you! I have no idea how you appeared, but you can speak human language it seems?" tilting his head curiously as he furiously wrote down this new information. "Please don't mind me, I don't think you're a common type of hmmm 'Pokemon' or 'Being'?

Lapis' eyes widened a bit at his...enthusiasm.  Not being a big fan, she backed away some more until her back hit the wall, "Well...I simply reformed from my gem.  It's not like I was going to stay in it forever." She watched him carefully, water pouring from her gem, but not falling to the ground.  Instead, the liquid formed into a pair of wings and folded around her in a defensive manner, "I'm a Gem...my name is Lapis Lazuli..."

Steven backed up a bit and bowed in response to her un-comfort. "I don't exactly understand what is happening here, but it reminds me of some pokemon." Looking at the time he saw it was getting real late and he didn't mind with this new discovery here. "What do you mean.... 'stay in your gem forever' ???" fingers still flashing across the page with more observations and the sentences he was using. "Why don't you take a seat there." he said gently pointing to the chair near her , it was his only large table that was meant for dining and talking with others. If comfort was a possible need then maybe she could try to do so.

The gem didn't respond immediately, but...perhaps he was amiable.  So, with some hesitation in her step, she goes to sit down, "...When my body takes too much damage, I'm forced to retreat to my gem...the one you had in the glass box." Lapis hugged herself, "I could have stayed in longer but...I can't exactly move around without legs...or talk with a mouth.  Plus, I wasn't crazy about being shut in by glass..." She almost said again...

Water Wings Not sure how much you care about spoilers... let's just say that Lapis was trapped inside a mirror for..over 6000 years before she was found...and even after she was found, she wasn't released right away.

The champion blinked in amazement. What an amazing discovery he has found here! Only that him of this region may have experienced some extraterrestrial life form. Writing down what she said to reference about being in gems and being enclosed, he now decided to start asking questions, but also be courteous of her as well. "Since you're able to communicate with me, My name is Steven Stone." he said with a slight bow and then nodded. "I am sorry, if I had any idea what that finding was capable of, I don't think I would of put it in a glass box. Do you need substance?" he was awkward but frantically excited about her, this was like a dream come true. (lmao.)

Lapis perked up slightly when she heard his name, "Steven...?  I...I know a Steven..." She grew quiet for a moment, remembering her friend, before shaking her head at his question, "I don't require food, no.  I mean...I can eat, but I don't really need to.  I get all my energy from my gem."  She laced her fingers together, twiddling her thumbs a bit as she looked around the structure, "My name is Lapis...Lapis Lazuli.  I suppose...it's a good thing you found me, and not someone else."  What would someone else do to her?  She shuddered at the thought.

He laughed a bit at the thought of someone else finding her, it would probably be the same instance with how decent people were usually around... unless it was one of those organizations that terrorize their regions. Falling silent he nodded and the first thing she said perked his interest the most. "Another Steven? Wow! That's fascinating. Is this someone who previously discovered you?" he was quite curious as to what the hell she was and where she came from. "Well, nice to meet you Lapis and welcome to the Hoenn region. This is my cottage home in Mossdeep City."

"He's a friend...a human...but also a gem.  A hybrid.  His father was human, and his mother had to give up her physical form to give birth to him.  Or at least, that's how it was described to me.  They can't both exist at the same time..." In other words, Rose Quartz died while giving birth to Steven.  Because she had to permanently give up her form in order for him to exist.  She looked toward the window, "He was the first living being in over 6,000 years to show me kindness of any sort.  It's...it's hard to describe how we met...I wasn't exactly on speaking terms with his guardians."  And it'd be easier to show him really, but Lapis wasn't sure how.  If they had a reflective surface to work with, she could give him a glimpse, at least.

"A hum- a gem???" he shook his head, how was that possible? Why wasn't he one of those? He loved gems, stones, rocks, steel and all other interesting forms of earths natural beauty. He'd being lying if he wasn't jealous, but more so intrigued that such things can be gifted or exist past what seemed reality. "This... is all too much. Excuse me." he said walking over to the sink and taking a glass from the cabinet to pour some water in it for his own consumption. Walking back over to her to take his own seat at the table. "6,000 years?!" he shouted. "That's quite the length! Impressive. You've been alive all this time?" shaking his head, he was thoroughly trying to take in all this information, was she part of some sort of deoxys line???

"Over 6,000 years...but...yes." Lapis leaned away from him a bit - needless to say, the shouting did her put her off just a tiny bit, "It's not all it's cracked up to be...trust me.  There's a lot that can be done to us when we're trapped inside our gems..." She looked at the glass of water and wondered if she could use it somehow...and then she looked over at the sink.  Lapis wasn't completely oblivious about how human things worked.  Without a word, she stood up and walked over to the sink, turning both nobs up to near full blast.  She then stepped back, putting a fair amount of room between herself and the sink.  Holding her hand out in front of her and the water in the sink rises up over the sides of the sink, moving at her will.  It moved from the sink to the space in front of her and formed a round disc-like surface close to the floor.  The water in the sink went back to draining like normal.

The watery disc was so still it looked like glass - and reflected everything around it perfectly.  Lapis looked over at Steven, and then back at the reflection, "Perhaps you'll understand better....after this..." The blue in her eyes had vanished, revealing glassy white eyes - the reflection in the disc began warping and seemed to be playing a scene, "It was thousands of years ago..."

Water Wings Definitely better to show than to type it all out - here

Seeing her past was unbelievably strange, he honestly didn't know what to say at how foreign all this seemed to be. "Are you even from the same universe as this one?" he started to question what she was and feeling a tinge of sorrow for her entrapment for such a long period of time. "Your world seems so.... complicated and destructive." The stone collector took another swig of the glass of water trying to calm his nerves at get a grip back onto reality, pokemon were one thing... but human... or gems?? Human gems? He wasn't sure how to accept or feel about this. He certainly wasn't terrified just overwhelmed by the information being presented to him by literally floating water and a being that shouldn't exist.

She held it for as long as she could before the water fell to the floor and she ended up collapsing to her knees.  This kind of ability always left her a bit drained, "It's ironic how I ended up being in the custody of the very same group of rebels that I was accused of being a part of.  Not much had happened until Pearl...the one you saw pick me up...she'd given the mirror I was trapped in to Steven.  He talked to me...what did he call us?  'Beach Summer Fun Buddies'?" She gave a bitter laugh, "I managed to convince him to remove my gem from the mirror and save me...but celebration was short lived.  The Crystal Gems...the ones who'd been watching over him...they showed up and..." She shook her head, "I'd rather not think too much about it.  A lot's happened since then..." Mustering up her strength, she managed to stand back up, "Sorry.  I shouldn't have dumped on you like that...you...you remind me so much of him.  The other Steven, that is.  T-That's not a bad thing, either...he was the first being in all that time to show me any real kindness."  She left out the part about her gem had being cracked...she didn't see the need to, seeing as it's been mended since then.
