Seeing that you are relatively new here to deviantART, I thought that I'd pass along a website link for you to use with regard to all of the little emoticons that you see used here.
Such as the:
... type of emoticons.
Anyway, those are just the standard deviantART emotes ... they kind of get boring after awhile.
You should go here for a much larger assortment if you so choose to use them in your time here on dA.
Here's the link and it is pretty straightforward on how you use them ...

01. Just move your cursor over the "COPY" portion beneath each emoticon.
02. Click one time and then you'll see a "CODE SUCCESSFULLY COPIED" message.
03. Then go to the deviantART comment section and insert the emote that you chose from the emoticon website by right clicking and then pasting it there.

Yes, I'm new member of this community but not a newbie of Internet. For the last 15 years I'm pretty much get used to a small number of emoticons which a standard for large amount of services. So I'm little bit old school type of person in terms of smiles and emoticons. I have some kind of mechanical habits to type out things like 
So, I will try this but I doubt that I will use it regularly. I'm lazy to this part of modern communication. And I have some strong habits from Russian culture of Internet communication. It's like a second nature.
