D: i don't know which one to buy! I think I'll go with cheapest. Still better then mouse (with drawing)

I use this oneΒ www.microsoftstore.com/store/mβ¦
it's cheaper and works just fine for me. I recommend going to the wacom site to find the item straight from them

I was just talking with pro illustrators and they told me if i buy cheapest(100$-130$), its the same as mouse. But i can't afford the one costing 300$ I think i won't get the tablet after all
π: 0 β©: 1
sourcandyland In reply to LucyNickBakura [2014-06-16 18:16:49 +0000 UTC]
It's not about the mouse or pen. It's about being able to have better control over the direction of your lines, and it depends on what drawing program you use. As well as your own skills. Using a pencil for example will give you much more flexibility and swifter movements than using a mouse. I don't know what they're trying to say, but just because it's more expensive, doesn't make it better.Β

I believe you totally, but when they said its not sensitive, it sounded like they weren't talking about Wacom at all!
The core of my change of mind was then they told meΒ "its not accurate at all, its like dragging mouse"
I thought any Wacom tablet is accurate in sensitivity, not depending of price...now i'm in biig doubt. I'm suspicious in these new series of cheap tablets.
I asked my uncle, he said he can make me tablet for free out of mouse and pencil (rofl, not by alchemy, he is an engineer ) but that wont be any time soon Probably in few months, when he is not busy
p.s. interesting fact : he showed me today how he writes programs for machines its awesome! i didn't understand even half of it!Β

sourcandyland In reply to LucyNickBakura [2014-06-16 20:59:29 +0000 UTC]
The sensitivity also depends on the drawing program. Programs like Paint Tool Sai aren't effected by pen pressure. However ones like Photoshop and SketchBookPro are. Some are just built with it, some aren't.
That's pretty cool!

LucyNickBakura In reply to sourcandyland [2014-06-16 21:13:35 +0000 UTC]
Hmm..i'll ask them again if program can be the thing they meant. I hope they didn't mean pen poorly register the tablet surface (god, i saw such tablets, but not Wacom) Thanks for advice! I hope there is still hope!
Just one question...do i perhaps overact with price nagging? Even my college colleagues had Wacom tablets, and they disagreed when i said its expensive Were your parents also doubting when buying tablet?
I'm all new with jobs...and money. Maybe i worry too much

sourcandyland In reply to LucyNickBakura [2014-06-16 22:01:10 +0000 UTC]
You're not nagging at all! It's an expensive piece of machinery you're laying for. It better do its job!
I don't know how my parents felt about buying it, it was an Xmas present from a few years ago

omfg thats really cheap!! But they changed all Bamboo tablets to Intuos...so i suppose the one you gave me is now called Intous Pen.
And ya, it's the cheapest, too..
I think more expensive models just include wireless, but no big difference. Pro models are really expensive...
I'll take your advice and buy normal tablet
And btw, Wacom site totally lacks of informations.
