By the way, a piece of advice. I highly suggest that you either sign or put put some kind of watermark on your artworks. DA is a great place. But unfortunately, there are also a lot of art thieves. And, with the skill you're already displaying, some idiot might try to steal your pics. And, it's always good to put said signature or watermark somewhere where it'd be not as easy to edit out. The website offers their own watermark with your username added to it, which you can use for this purpose. But, even though that one really is effective, I try to avoide using it because the DA's system always puts it exactly in the center of the image and kinda ruins the pleasure of looking at the artwork.

And you're absolutely right. Just the other day I found someone on tumblr who had reported not only mine, but the work of tons of other artists... It would've been so easy for them to just credit the artists, but nope.
I was playing around with a signature earlier (not the prettiest thing, but hey) and I'll probably take your advice and add it onto my art. Placement is tricky though!

The difference is, though, that Tumblr is just an image board. Even if the person doesn't cite the real artist of the posted artwork, they can't really do much with it. DA, on the other hand, allows you to sell your art. And, some art thieves not only post other people's art and call it their own, but they try to sell said art, too. Of course, they never manage to sell anything because they get caught before they get a chance to make a sale. But, the fact alone that they tried it is enough to take precautions, don't you think?

Well, you have some awesome drawings. So, I'm more than happy to add you to my watch list .
Also, it doesn't really have to be a a signature, per se. It can also be a watermark . Maybe just your username stylized to your liking or an image which is like a logo. For example, are you familiar with the signature seal stamps japanese people have and use for stuff like paperwork other things?

Well, actually the reason I asked you about the japanese seal stamps was because I wanted to show you and example of a watermark . If you take a look at my latest pic, you'll see a seal watermark in the bottom right corner. I only recently came up with it and the kanji in it are my username written in japanese . So, if you could figure out how to write your username in kanji like that, you could for example make yourself a seal watermark like that, too . Jusat throwing it out there.

PS: As for my username.....I fail hard . I know that . I came up with this lame thing 7 years ago when I first got into Naruto. And, I have to admit that I'm not exactly proud of it . And yet, I'm so used to it that I don't want to change it.

Ah, I just saw! Hmm I think I'll go with a signature or just stylize my username, like you said. My username is not an actual word and I'd just prefer to make one myself. (Can you say control freak?)

Hahah don't worry about your username, I've had a ton of usernames in the past based on what book I was reading or show I was watching ahh, 12 year old me... And 15 year old me... Actually it was terrible until like, last year. Not to say that this won't seem horrible in a few months.

And, on a side note, I'm making my first attempt right now at perspective drawing . And, considering that, when it comes to drawing I've always been a total self-taught and I still don't really have anyone to teach me the things I don't know, this is REALLY gonna suck.

Oooh, perspective! I made a few attempts last year and well... It didn't happen xD I have a sketch somewhere from another attempt last month that I'm too scared to look at. 
Don't worry about being self taught, you'll do great! Though being self taught is difficult, I know It's great having people you look up to occasionally post tutorials or WIPs so you see how they do things!

Oh, don't get the wrong idea . I take pride in being self-taught . And yeah, I look at tutorials every now and then. But, the thing with me is, most of the time I just can't seem to do it right even if I follow the tutorial's instructions to the letter. So, I still end up having to figure it out on my own.

I know that feeling I think I'm slowly (very slowly) grasping the concept of drawing humans. However, environments is something I'll always struggle with. You'd think drawing a basic rock wouldn't be that difficult.

But, what do you mean you're slowly grasping the concept of drawing humans? Other than Sting's flat hair, your drawings of Erza and Sting are simply amazing. I say you've not only grasped it, but you've more or less mastered drawing humans.

Yeah, I know what you mean. In my case, because of several reasons, it's going extremely slow, but I'm working on an original story which I'm going to try and turn into a manga. So, obviously, I have to develop a style for it. But, that's a lot easier said than done . As a matter of fact, by the way, the pic that I'm making while learning to do perspective drawing is exactly a pic that shows some of the characters from this story of mine. I just hope it'll turn out at least half decent.
