I want to thank you for showing off a great new look for tabs with the Flavours app. I'm thinking of the Yosemite style tabs - where the tabs are separated from the main window and essentially stand on their own.
I hope you don't mind that I have used this technique in a few themes of mine? it really is a great effect.

An interesting thing is I didn't even make that type of tab to be Yosemite style at first per say. I just did it as a solution for certain textured themes where the texture doesn't flow into the tab so well. Coincidently that was a style that Apple just so happened to be heading towards at the same time.Β
Also, Yosemite style is a particular style where not only is the selected tab separated from the toolbar but the corner radius is also 0 making it completely rectangular.

Ah, yeah.. I myself prefer the original wood version. However, I know some people prefer the metal variant and especially due to the way the traffic lights, etc are constructed without any hard coded images and just semitransparent layers with no color in them making it metal is a no brainer and dead simple.
