how ironic. the last comment I left here was about me being pissed at traditional media. so is today. just got back from art class. I want my acrylics back. The teacher told me some time ago to move back to gouache cos it's easier to learn with that, so I did. everything is so damn muted and washed out, it doesn't allow you to fix any mistakes at all cos it just let's the previous layer of paint shine right trough no matter how thick the new layer is. there is practically no way to get back to light from dark.
damn I hate that fckin gouache.
anyway, enough of me bickering around, how are you? haven't heard from you again for some time : / that few times we got to exchange words trough soulseek was unpleasantly seperated by time zones : /

just got back from my painting class. god I hate traditional media. all that mucking around with colours still not finding the right hue or saturation level, then you suddenly run out of red, handicapping you to mix it out of some sort of purple. you get some on your nice black blouse. acrylics doesn't wash out either. then you realize the composition is all fucked up but you're too far into the picture to fix it, the colours mute out, you can't see the result because half the canvas is wet. *sigh* and I was so pissed at myself that I skipped art history and came home.
