Pretty cool gallery you've got there so far! If I were to offer any critique, it would be to up your contrast, that is, make the black parts black and the white parts white. Try to use the entire range of greys. Other than that I think you've got a pretty good sense of faces. A tip that works quite well when you're not sure about a face is if you turn your picture around and hold it up to the light so you're looking at the reverse of the picture. Then any mistakes regarding proportion and things become obvious. Hope you keep on going with art, and I hope this helps

Hey there, Mihai
Your drawings are really good, and you have a real knack for shadowing and highlighting - especially the hair! I believe that with time and lots of practice that you could become a pro.
Its great that you've been able to get so much detail with an HB pencil, but when you can, definitely invest in a full-range graphite set. That way, you can get more out of your work!
Terrific job, old chap! Keep it up

Hi there, ad thank you for the comment on my Cory Monteith drawing.
I just looked your gallry through, and you have a good thing going on there.

May i ask, what you use when you draw?? If its pencils, witch one is it, and what numbers?
And how much time do you use for each drawing?

You have a sence for shadows and details, and i'm pretty sure, with just a bit more time and practice, you could progress tremendously in your art!

Only a HB pencil... I think, if you invested in a complete range set, you would be able to make some amazing shadows, and give your drawings so much more life that they already have.
I use Derwent Grapfite Soft range set... from H to 9B.

That, and some more time on each drawing, you would kill those portraits! I use all from 10 hours to serveral days on each drawing... It's well worth it!
