No problem, really I stumbled upon the picture by accident ( Im not too familiar with fan chracters) and after seeing and reading this DCnU-esque backstory with Pyg I saw a huge amount of potential! I went and looked back at your other Black Sheep stuff and think its a very interesting character ( already prefer Black Sheep to some other comic villains)

being a professor Pyg fan I really enjoy this character! do you, by chance, accept fan art?

cool, I really like the DCnU design you did making her a Pyg creation with a personality, I see her in two ways; like Scarlet if she was a success and like the flower girl from Pygmalion (Pyg). Id really like to try and draw the character! so the pleasure would be mine.

Well, I mean, people like her, but a good amount come from friends, and I'm not saying that their opinions aren't validated, but when someone you do not know likes them, it's just a special feeling. Fancharacters in general tend to get thrown under the bus because they're not "official", if that makes any sense.
People tend to like things they're familiar with, so I understand that.

omg yes! She does! I was just reading over that play for more inspiration. I've been trying to pick apart the greek legend too.
Have you ever tried making a character before? It can be entertaining if you have the time and enjoy constructing stuff!

yeah I can understand the fan character mindset, I myself stumbled into it purly by coinsidence ( I was looking at Scarecrow on DA when I came across your picture) and I suppose I entertained the idea of making an "OC" but it's nothing more than drawings and expressions I like.

but I would like to try my hand at Black Sheep, she strikes me as ( and I apolagize if this is out of line) Harley Quinn done right. Because Pyg is based on Pygmalion it makes sense for him to have a prominent female to use and abuse than joker having one. I like your ideas for her design such as wearing a Dollotron dress but in black and a reconstructed face and brain

you say you dont know if Pyg is good at surgery, I think it would be cooler if he has little to now surgicaal experience (only using masks previously) and really screwed up her face ( so I imagine Black sheep would have her trademark scar and also many healed scars all over her face where the skin had been cut)and acting and talking like something of a bad dream as Pyg is basicly the Hunter S Thompson of crime it would make sense for her to be as screwed.
I dont know if you have or will, but have you ever thought of doing a comic strip of Black Sheep and Pyg which is a loose adaption of 'My fair Lady' perhaps acting as a sort of 'mad love' for the character.

Yeah!!!! I agree!!! I was actually wondering about that!! I didn't think he WOULD be good at surgery, and earlier today I was actually imagining a really horribly sutured up mess of a face. That's a wonderful idea!!! Yes!
I was curious to if he was good or not because I remember reading on his uhhh... profile thinger that it said he was gifted, but then again with his distortions I really feel that you are indeed right. He screams the kind of guy who just messes things up to the point of where it's just really unrecognizable and terrifying.

Harley Quinn done right? Hehe! I guess she would be! Then there was always a part of me that wanted to throw some of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein in there. I had to do a college writing project on Frankenstein my senior year in highschool and thought that her malfunctioning would have been interesting, because in the Pygmalion play the woman does in a way kind of "snap" at certain points. But I am unsure about that, because then that's mixing something totally different in and moving from the "Pyg" things.

I can understand the expression and drawing part! For the most part people just throw in a fancharacter with nothing much else. Not saying that that's bad, but that's probably what gives "fancharacters" a bittersweet thought. Some people like them, some people don't.

You know, I never really thought of that idea either... I really should... Though I have no experience in comics and I cannot draw men LOL. But that'd be a good practice. I'd probably have to be very precise about it, because I'd want to make it a "Mad Love" sort of thing, but at the same time steer away from it so people wouldn't think it's a knockoff.

oh and if your confused by the Harley Quinn comment let me explain; the character was good for the animated series thats undeniable, but in other media (TV,Games,Comics) she tends to come of as a weak or badly written character at best (personal opinion only, I mean not to offend) and where a simple adaption to said media would be needed,there are large numbers of her "fans" who will not let the character evolve and adapt which in the long term could really damage her.

Oh, yes, I am one of those people who don't like it when they change Harley so drastically, and you're right, I think that if she was introduced in a less lighthearted toony manner she'd definitely have been a lot more flexible VIA character design and stability!
