His name is Oliver/Ollie, after Oliver Twist. .u .;; He was found following people begging for scraps in the park, and holy moly I've never seen a tinier kitten in my life.

Yes, much better than my Dad's affectionate nickname "Rat." He was pretty fuzzy back then. Thankfully, he's nice and healthy these days, although he has a huge appetite and likes mooching for people food. .- .
And yeah, we usually don't see too many stray cats in our neighborhood since we're close to a canyon and a nest of owls, so it was a bit of a shock to see such a tiny thing all by himself. I'm sorry to hear about your little guy, too, but it seems he/she is very happy now!

Hehe, aww! Mine's the same, he's CONSTANTLY searching for food, as if I don't feed him enough already.

Ooh okay, yeah we don't see too many around here either...

Yeah, he is very sweet. It's even sadder for my other cat, because he was a stray as well, and he is sort of traumatized because I think someone abused him. He gets really scared whenever you're holding something, and is scared of men pretty much all the time, it's really sad.

I know what you mean. Although he mooches a lot less, if his bowl is empty he will start chewing through the bag of cat food and helping himself. :V I guess he still has that mentality of not knowing when's the next time he'll eat? It makes things difficult for our older cat if he's not there when we fill the bowl though. :S

Oh wow, that's so sad. As if any physical trauma wasn't bad enough, they have to live with the fear issues for much longer... It's just terrible to think about. I'm glad he has a nice home now, it's wonderful of you to take in strays.

Hehe, aww mine will just go through the garbage and see what he can find, it's terrible ahaha. He knows how to open the cupboard so I'm just careful to not leave anything in there he could choke on (like bones). My cats have a scheduled feeding simply cause Boo (the gray kitty) is a huge pig and then Marty (my other cat) would never get to eat anything.

Yeah, it's really very sad. He's an incredibly sweet cat too, he just has these little problems. He's never aggressive he just runs away and hisses and lot when he feels threatened. It's sad cause he gets better and then he regresses again. But otherwise he's a very sweet cat and they both follow me everywhere and sleep on my legs everynight hehe. I love them!

I think I would almost prefer the garbage to the two dead birds Ollie left to bake in the sun a few days ago, yikes! I might have to try the scheduled feedings, since I think that's exactly what's happening to Blacky (my old cat). Finding a way to feed him without Ollie noticing/being able to get there might be tricky, though, since he'll come running at anything that sounds like catfood (like croutons).

Aughh, poor thing. Not that any abuse is okay in the least, but it just really gets to you when you hear about abuse directed towards animals that would never hurt a fly themselves. I hope he and Boo are doing well!

Eep, that's true! Mine are indoor cats (I live in an apartment) so they don't get to catch birds, just watch them (which they love). Aww, that's too bad! Yeah mine get about 2 tablespoons of canned food in the morning, and 1/4 cup crunchies at night. Haha, yeah mine are the same! It's so bad! Also, you have a black and a gray cat? Me too.

I agree with you, it's very sad, and I can't understand why people would do it. Oh, they're good! I'm moving my room today so they're "helping" me, it's very exciting for them, haha!

Watching birds sounds so much more adorable and pleasant. Although the two birds we found were the first, before then Ollie was pissing the birds off to the point of them divebombing him when he was out front! Thankfully, Blacky's long outgrown that sort of thing. I'll have to give the scheduled feedings a shot, or at least drag both cats to the kitchen before filling any bowls.

Same. I may make fun of my Mom for crying at movies and shows, but I can't help but join her when it comes to animal rescue shows and the like. It's very unfortunate.
Sounds like fun! When it comes to moving stuff in my house, my cats just take it as an opportunity to find new places to sleep.

Hehe, yeah! It's funny too cause they make that "chattering" noise when they're watching them hehe. Silly cats! I hope it works out well for you though! I guess it'd be something to slowly wean them into, and then hopefully they'll get used to it! Ehhee, it's okay! I think it's cool we have the same colour cats.

Yeah...oh man. Anything with animals and stuff like that, it's so sad what they go through. It doesn't help there's people that claim they don't have feelings and such as a way to justify what they do to them.

Compliments on style mean so much to me you don't even know. Unique/neat styles are always what I look for in other artists, so if other people think that way about me I guess I'm doing something right.

Because it is 4:30 AM where I live and I am surprised that my words are even vaguely coherent! <:'D;;;

You are most certainly doing something right! You are doing quite the few things right!

By no means does your art all look the same. It's actually really neat to me that you can pull off a few different styles, and pull them off well, and make them uniquely yours in some form or another!

I mean every word of it, and artists like you are what make me really enjoy using deviantART! It's always great to stumble across people who have really good art, but aren't very well-known.

Along with that, I mentioned your coloring; I mention that because alot of people who've acquired some sort of unique style can't acquire a solid coloring style, but that is something you've also pulled off! Your coloring is not messy and suits your art perfectly.

I know I'm sitting here babbling, so, to sum it up, great, great job!
