I am a professional, first and foremost. A photo shoot with me will guarantee great images.I do not have any piercings, tattoos or other body modifications
I started modeling to become art--when I am 80, old and wrinkly I want to have gorgeous art of mine hanging in my house.
I have a passion for modeling, photography, editing and makeup and am not afraid to show it. :D
I am a published photographer. As well, I am a classically French trained chef.

The skin is a very awesome protective organ. Lots of evolution to get it to this stage. There's a documentary about it.
Lots of body mod puncture and damage this protective organ.... in the name of "fun", just simply not a smart idea. And yes, it's close to being a bad idea.
And than there is the shove foreign object under the skin.

No, you should read your question carefully. Your question is why are they warrant to be killed. Which mean someone is talking about "killing" them. Your question accuse me of saying about killing them and asking WHY. Which is why I ask who is talking about killing?
Your question was simple but it have an accusation with it.
Your skin is there to protect you. Damaging it means you are risking yourself against the things that organ is made to protect. A girl had a very small cut on her leg and she crossed a small stream. That cut got wet. Later she had to cut her leg because flesh eating bacteria got into her body through that very small minor cut.

I just upgraded to a D7000 and a kit lens (18-55mm)

I do like Nikon, I have a D700 FX format and 3 good lens 24-70mm, 70-200mm, and a 105mm, it gets expensive quick, I seen your photos and they were very inspiring wish I could shoot more but I create PS Brushes and at the damn computer most of the time.
