I seem finally to be getting organized again since the departure of TF, who left such a great void behind him.

I just hope I don't go missing when you ever get around to Athletes, as I actually have several possible scenes I could suggest for you to draw your favourite, but it would be just my luck, as your slots fill so quickly, that I could miss a day and the chance would be gone.

isnt that the truth when i remember i woke up in the morning looking forward to tfs new drawing only to find his account deactivated i was devastated i felt bad for myself but worse for all of you guys who depended on his work thats the reason i started this account some one had to fill the void or at least try you know :/ ?

and yea im really looking forward to athletes week maybe when voting time comes around again you can vote for it and it could win i know for sure its gonna be beyond EPIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! heheheehhehe and yeah that's true its kinda hard to get request in sometimes because of how fast things move voting and spots are gone in an instant i find my self often overwhelmed but  since you told me i promise when athlete week comes around ill save a spot for you

Of course, sooner or later, all the other choices will be done (or you could just decree it; TF did that sometimes). But, whenever it happens, I just hope the selection on offer will give you at least one piece of real inspiration.

 yea i always thought about doing that but it takes the fun out of it and i don't think its fair to my watchers although ive been now to be the swing vote for certain categories when they tie by vote and im pretty sure i know where im leaning when votes tie next week tho ^_^  hopefully that choice gets more then 1 vote this week though so it can at least tie with the others    but with only a few choices next week it has a good chance unless i reveal my mystery  category that is   but enough rambling lol yea im beyond excited for that week just wondering what epic ideas people might have  ^_^

Well, as long as you please yourself, everything's fine, but I don't recall any of TF's friends thinking he was being unfair. Of course, his themes might have been a bit longer than yours, and maybe more ambitious. By keeping your ideas relatively small in scope, you seem less likely to risk going through a whole idea before you move on. And it does give you a way to keep people involved. I just would not want you to feel trapped by your own system.

confession time i've been reading your comment all day and im just so confused my under achieving teenage mind is having trouble grasping what exactly it is your saying or suggesting but please don't give up on me lol i lost you at the scope part are you saying my ideas should be bigger or smaller ? or were you referring to TF  at that part ? and how would i get trapped by  my system ? i know your trying to give me some good advice but im just not comprehending it maybe you could say it simpler and sorry for being so dumb     lol

Well, no; you may recall that TF was constantly doing Months, whereas you restrict yourself to Weeks. And then as often as not he'd take on too much or he'd run through all his ideas for the theme in question, or something else would spark his interest, and that way not a lot of themes lasted the whole month. Not that that's necessarily bad, as I'm sure he planned in good faith every time, and if he happened to finish early, no harm in that. And your ideas should suit you, which they seem to do, not be of a particular Ideal Scope. If one is too ambitious, the lot can be spoiled. You seem fine with where you are, and that's what matters.

Getting trapped by your system was just a reference to your feeling that just because you said you were going to do something a certain way should not make you feel bound if you were to change your mind. If you get to a point where you want to do something but feel you can't because you've set up for everything to be decided by votes, that would probably not be very good for you. Set up what you like, but don't worry if you use the veto.

i 10000x % agree with everything you said i did notice that about TF and the whole time that kept happening all i was thinking was i wish he did it in weeks instead of months because that would always happen but it really didn't matter he was still a great artist that's apart of the reason why i made mine so short because that was the last thing i wanted to do was make a topic get stale. as a matter of fact that happened to me before when i did tickle fight week i had gotten a little bit over my head doing the comics they  took all day with sloppy results not to mention the fact that i was so backed up in request it was just awful and i ended up taking the whole month struggling through it making crappy comic after crappy comic  its apart of the reason why i don't like when people give me request that are extremely detailed because i try to do them the best i can in the way i want doing it there exact way makes it difficult for me with some of there over the top demands and i tend to not have a back bone about and usually let my requester run all over me with there complicated pic and just never have the courage to say no from fear of upsetting them ironically i'm going through that right now trying to decide how im gonna go thru with this extras for so cute thing i really wish i had never taken the requests but now that i already did i have to go thru with them and i really wanted to move onto my next and do voting again i'm like between a rock and a hard place and have no idea how to not do it with out looking bad so i'm just gonna have to do it but you know what i'm gonna do it MY WAY thanks allot i appreciate the advice i really needed it

No; I was just about to ask you. Apparently he was logged in three hours ago, and some time early yesterday as well. We can hope this is just something to do with his move, but now that the possible reactivation period has started, I'll probably be a nervous wreck until he comes back, somebody can provide news of him, or the clock runs out and we just have to adjust to his being gone.

He was here six hours ago, apparently, as well as last night or early this morning, depending on location. Last time he left, he didn't keep popping back in.

I don't entirely understand the deactivation process, but apparently it seems he can reactivate for about the next four weeks.

What a sad time for us all if he's really decided to leave for good, though it really doesn't seem to be his style to do it that way.

No, and it seems so sudden. He seemed to be settling back into DA nicely and he seemed to be enjoying himself. Hopefully this has all just been a mistake and he will soon be back.
