Have you ever had a dream, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?

What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.

You take the blue pill, the story ends. Your browser closes and you believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland. And, I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

I offer only the truth, nothing more.

Take: The Red Pill
Take: The Blue Pill

spyed, nobody has ever done this before.
I know. That's why it's going to work.

I just have a look on your gallery ... Very Nice picture. I pay attention especialy to those you took in China.
I live in china Since two years, but I don't dare to take picture of people as you do. I am just worry how the people will react.

I like the " Innocence in the window ". Very cute

Hehe, pout duly noted Yeah I also think I need to do some more people shots, they're more engaging for me as well. I was trying to reduce the amount of crap in my room on sunday and part of that was throwing away the majority of my old machine prints. So I spent a good hour or so looking through about a thousand 6x4 prints from the last year, looking for "the good ones", and it really struck me how many more people shots I used to take than I do now. I'm not sure what's changed. I think summer helped -- people tend to be out doing things in public in summer whereas in winter any sane person is either already home or trying like hell to get there. At any rate I'm going to try to shoot some more soon, and see what happens

As for London no I've only been here for three years, I'm originally from Cape Town in South Africa. I'm here in London as a sort of extended working holiday thing, or something.

Take Care my dear friend.

A story teller huh? I think you could be write -- my photography in London does seem to be about telling the story of life here. Reckon you might be the same from what I've seen of your shots.

Hey, thanks for stopping by and checking out my stuff. Yeah, my dad's got a bit of an interest in yinyangs, so the wp's were mainly for him. He knows more about it than me, but they can symbolise a lot of things - the battle between good and evil as well as the two joining. There's a lot to do with both existing together all the time. Like satan and God. Also, the black and white don't always represent good and evil. They are more about opposites. Good and evil are the ones most people think of though. So the yinyang are about balance. I guess with regard to good and evil, it's like sin.. it's always there, and we can never really get rid of it. But God is always there too, and he helps us to change to become more like Jesus. Phew. This is a huge response. Thanks for the concern though. I'm worried about my dad sometimes too, espescially when he investigates things like the I Ching (I don't really know much about that though some sort of eastern something..?)
Thanks again.

thanks. yeah I've gathered that people like my people shots. lately things haven't really gone that way, but I do feel a desire to get back to that sort of people oriented street-photography as well.

London's cool ... gets a bit depressing in winter to be honest: lack of light, grim weather and bitter cold, people dress in dark colours and acts like they're on their way to their own funeral, everyone closes up and you can see the strain in people's faces. on the other hand there's lots to like as well, it gets pretty festive towards christmas and there's a feeling of keeping warm and cosy in the cold. it's a bit like the city hibernates for the long winter months, to come to life magically in spring like an impossibly pretty flower growing out of the grey and dark.

hey, thank you so much for your comment on Mariana2. It means a lot to me coming from a pro photographer as you are. You've made me feel special

I'd like to do some work on the old fashioned way (B&W 35/120mm) but sadly i can't afford the cost. i'm trying to do something with a digital camera and your kind words have encouraged me a lot to do so. Please, feel free to do any constructive criticism on any work because that's the only way to improve the skills.

Again, thanx, really.. you've made me happy (and damn.. i needed it lately).
