this is what i got from Brit xD "Santo is generally opposed to murdering his opponents out of the unfinished business it leaves
he's not likely to kill anything save for if they downright send him in a hysterical fit of rage (like...devoured his dog or something)"

Due to Seth curses, he can't really kill people, but just torture them with his spikes. Seth actually tries to avoid killing them of sorts..
