Well... I've been drawing for a long time now and I'm pretty much completely self taught (meaning no real art classes)

Happy New Year to you as well! :3 Ah, mostly. Although I've been a bit mentally fatigued recently, hopefully after all this holiday stuff blows over my regular schedule will get back to normal.

Looks like you've been pretty busy still the last week or so (given your latest journal xD). Did you manage to catch up on your trades & do any personal type pieces?

I know exactly what you mean.
WellΒ  I partially finished one but I gave up because well, its not Christmas anymore x3

Still working on one trade which is a traditional piece and it will take some time to finish, thankfully my friend is super patient xD
While I have another one on the go that in the idea phase lol

it was very busy... I mean, we had someone break into our house even, so spentΒ  some time fixing up the door and such. Thankfully they got nothing because were home, but still... what an asshole xD
As well my Bf hasn't been doing well. he went home for Christmas and that has left him in some pretty rough shape, so trying to help him out with that.
Still working on art but as you say, once the regular schedule comes back things should certainly be in order
