mine is spruce, dragon heartstring core, 12 and a half inches and quite flexible
in summary;

His parents had chosen the site of a rather old, magical place and he knew there would be something impressive around to find. So he'd waited for his parents to leave for their spa treatment day, or something as equally boring, before fleeing out the villa door. As he was only fifteen, he knew he couldn't cast any magic outside Hogwarts yet, and so he hoped that whatever magical beast or artefact that was around wouldn't hurt him. Of course, the wizard knew it was not certain he'd find anything, but he really did hope he would. He'd have a blast bragging to Al and Rose about it !Β
