What a loaded question! Here's what you missed: (ahem, thank you for asking!)

-I'm married (that's a huge simplification, by the way)
-If I were any more comfortable with who I was, I'd be naked all the time, everywhere
-I am art-directing an MMORPG start-up
-I sold art at a convention (Anthrocon) for the first time, and met clients and made tons of new friends. Huge surprise—did not expect it to be a highlight of my life!
-I moved to Cincinnati to be closer to the wife, and am planning on convention-hopping to pay the bills.
-I accidentally made friends with ~Fyreant without realizing it, and he is just so very neat.
-I still don't work anywhere consistently, but I'm doing the right things and hoping pay-off hits me soon—I'm extremely poor!

Haha, cool! I'm doing character and other sorts of art for our game,and looking into teaching. That's the basic gist of things on this side, nothing special but yeah, keeping my head of above water like the rest of us!

It's been good Alica! I still live in California but I'm on a road trip in the mid west atm visiting folks. School's out for the summer and I'm putting more effort in Forever Interactive doing lots of card illustrations, concept work as well as a bunch of texture work. That's the skinny of it. You? How's your work going and teaching? And your turtles, how are they?

Work's been great - I'll be teaching next year as well. Sadly, the male turtle was beating up his wife, so my dad gave him to a pet store and wouldn't tell me where. My turtle family was dysfunctional.

I'm doing good. So busy with FI. Leading a concept team on one game working on promotional and story art for another. Doing texture and interface art between them.
Going back to school to get my Masters in Business (hopefully). I, think I think I'm wearing different shoes at the moment. Miss you guys, miss the old days of goofing off and project collaboration.

haha, it's actually from a comic called "Garfield minus Garfield"
in which the editor takes Jim Davis's work and cuts the cat out completly to stress
the fact that John is simply a very lonely, very disturbed individual.
Some are quite hilarious.

oh gosh, haha. it's quite embarrassing actually, while waiting for the elbow and armpit parts from Japan, my cat went #1 on the blueprints, burning a hole right through it. I'll have to start from square one someday I guess. haha.

Haha, I should! I got a haircut, thinking it was the hair adding to my youthful appearance, but it didn't help much. OTL

I'm mostly helping out in class - walking around, helping kids, etc - and don't usually teach, but this week I'll be teaching in two of my classes, Painting and Multimedia. Also, I'm writing up proposals for classes I can teach next year, so hopefully those will get approved.
