Ik zit nog steeds in leiden maar gelukkig ben ik weg van mijn oude huis. Ben nu sinds een aantal maanden ingetrokken bij mijn vriendje. Hij kan er helaas niet zijn.

Ik heb nu de ruimte om te naaien en te schilderen, een schone keuken om in te kokerellen en dagelijkse knuffels. Win/win =P (Razz)
EN ja helaas zit het vriendje in waarschijnlijk zweden om een seminar te geven.

Waar zitten jullie precies?Ik dacht te gaan kamperen gezien ik tot nu toe leuke session ervaringen heb gehad in het 24 uurs gebied maar muziek maken kan overal.

XD het 24-uursgebied is zo'n beetje juist wat ik ontvlucht :P (Lick)
we zitten in sassenheim, in een scoutinggebouw. s'ochtends collectief in de auto naar het terrein, optioneel voor avondeten terug, en dan weer naar CF voor de avond. Vast dak, douches, keuken met koelkast, en een zolder om spelletjes te spelen. we hebben wel wat muziekanten aan boord, maar we doen zachtjes vanaf 23,00 vanwege mensen die willen slapen enzo ;) (Wink)

Hey sorry voor het late antwoord maar mijn semi-arts took a turn for the crazy.
Ik weet opeens niet eens zeker meer of ik zelfs naar Castlefest ga.
Vriendje-lief heeft een business trip die langer is geworden dan gepland en komt pas het week-end van 1-2 augustus terug en gaat waarschijnlijk daarna snel door naar Zweden.
Dan geniet ik het liefst zo veel mogelijk van hem dus als ik al naar Castlefest ga dan slaap ik denk ik wel thuis ;) (Wink) .
Voordeel van in de buurt van Lisse te wonen

I notice you’re from the Netherlands. I visited there ago and I’ve always wished I could have stayed longer! 

I found that a lot of people here in the U.S. don’t don't know much about their own country, much less anyone else's. :( (Sad)

I post prayer updates about different countries. Part of the reason is to raise awareness about what's going on in the rest of the world.

Recently I’ve started my own private initiative; if I notice someone on DA is from another country, if I've done their country I let them know. It’s my way of letting them
know that others are thinking about their home. :) (Smile)

Thanks I think for this little message.
I guess it was meant well but I'm afraid you are knocking at the wrong door.
I've been christian in the past but I haven't been adhering to that faith ever since I was fourteen or so.
Partly because I was disgusted by the horrors perpetuated in Christianity's name and partly because the tenents of the faith do not fit with how I view the world.
Nowadays I am thoroughly pagan and proud of it.
So thank you but no thanks

Well I think it is a bit superfluous to give an inhabitant an exposé about his/her own country.
Especially since yours misses a couple of salient facts that greatly define the daily life of the Dutch.
The netherlands are extremely bike friendly. Most dutch bike most short distances.
The national color is orange. You see it everywhere on queensday/kingsday.
The dutch love ice-skating and are bloody good at it.
The netherlands have a royal family and most dutch love them very Much.
Our queen( Beatrix)recently abdicated in favour of her son ( Willem-Alexander).
And I could go one like that for hours.

Also You describe the Netherlands as decadent which is offensive especially since the practices that make you label the netherlands as decadent are practices I consider as freedoms everyone should be able the enjoy.

LGTB people have a right to equal rights and I am glad to live in a country that is so far along into granting them. I am glad to live in a country that legalises abortion. I may not always agree about when it is appropriate but it gives women a huge autonomy about their own bodies which is a basic right. I am glad to live in a crountry that legalises euthanasia. AT least doctors now do not face prosecution when they try to humanly alleviate suffering. I am glad to live in a country that legalises prostitution. At least now the ladies of the night get a voice and legal standing so that they may improve their working standard and leave the profession easily if they are so inclined.

Your call to pray for the Netherlands to become less decadent falls at the wrong door because I think the Netherlands are perfectly fine as they are except maybe for the immigration issue ( though it is a great deal less problematic than you make it out to be). ALso your call for the Netherlands to become more christian falls even more at the wrong door because I am Pagan, proud of it and really glad that the Netherlands is a country that is not defined by one religion but by the freedom to follow whatever religion you want.
