I can imagine! I'd try and draw one if I wasn't concerned my body wouldn't terminate itself in retaliation!

I could waste hours and hours reading and rereading those stories... In fact I already do!

YES! Yes I do!! Flies East was almost over taken by Sees it Through is awesome stakes. I was laughing so hard at Biggles' misfortune in Sees it Through, I loved it! Also the banter between the characters was far more pronounced and the fleshing out of them really made me enjoy it. The Black Peril is another favourite, mostly because little Ginger is ADORABLE and rather blunder-ous when he's trying to imitate his favourite movie characters. 'I'll drill you like a colander! Like two colanders! No that doesn't sound right. I'll need to look it up in a book..' and of course 'You must be lost by no mistake! Fancy not knowing what county you're in!' after which he admits rather sheepishly that actually he didn't know either.

And then there's the story where Algy bomb's the German's geraniums and calceolarias in retaliation for them bombing his sunflowers!

Ah, cool! I'm afraid I haven't read the post WW1 books yet, but Sees It Through sounds like a great read!
Haha, aww I'm looking forward to reading about Ginger! Funny because I thought of Algy as the goofy, innocent character so I'm really curious to see what Ginger is like
Oh my gosh, the Battle of the Flowers was fantastic! Poor Algy, after all the work he did planting his garden! I had a good laugh at that one, though the story when Biggles gets stuck in the German tank and it tears through the aerodrome had me nearly crying with laughing so hard!
Let's see, wow there are so many great little moments - like Biggles accidentally bombing a German officer's wine cellar or the story where he and Algy play the prank on Wilkinson and having all of his clothes dropped over enemy lines! But there were others that were really emotional like He Shot Him To Bits and The Last Show left me feeling pretty numb. But there are so many good ones and it's nice that there are some you can just laugh at and others that really make you care for the characters.

Indeed! I really wasn't prepared for how much I'd come to care about these characters but it was a lovely surprise.
Oh the tank story was in Biggles in France It starts with 'One Bomb and Two Pockets' when Biggles accidentally bombs the German officer's wine cellar, and that leads straight onto 'Stand Clear - I'm Coming!' with the tank. Both are a damn good laugh and worth a look!

Neither was I. I read the Little Green God first and hadn't really taken too much to the characters. However when my friend started reading the Black Peril to me I developed rather a love for the characters! Because Ginger is too adorable to not love!

I've just read them and laughed rather a lot! Poor Biggles getting in trouble with the top brass. Mahoney seemed rather annoyed that Biggles ran over his camel Camel..
