lol, i see.

you're.. talking about the elvis one, right? hahaha. it's kinda depressing looking at it nowadays, considering a) some jerk smeared purple paint alllllllllll over it and b) i should've taken more time on it. i'm proud of it, but at the same time... eh. if i had been patient it would've looked a lot better.

I kinda feel like that with most of my stuff...

(well...except for the purple paint)

but, I am awesome enough to smear yellow paint on my art (much to my surprise) but, I kinda like that you can do an awesome or just as equally crappy job and it's always a step to get better.

I also heard you've taken figure drawing classes? (not that I'm stalking or anything )

Oh, awesome! I was thinking about taking one myself, but I don't think it is even offered at Palomar so I'll probably end up taking something else. I just got a set of pastels, but I'm too intimidated to open the box and try them out

What brand of pastels? Mine are Rembrandt, which are reeeeeally really nice, but the best ones are Senellier. My Life Drawing teacher had some and they were seriously like velvet, lmao. Ummm, if you were seriously looking for a life drawing class, Mira Costa has it like... every semester, lol. :> Unless that's too outta the way for you. But yeah.

It's one of the sweetest photos I've ever seen, and I'm sorry I didn't leave a comment. I'm typically good about that but I haven't been on deviantart in a while soooo I'm binging. Lol. But, yes, it was a fantastic picture. It reminded me a lot of my own cat.

happy holidays to you, too. batman's my favorite super hero, and, not surprisingly, the joker is my favorite villain. i'm positive i'm going to like heath ledger's/christopher nolan's interpretation of him the most though.
