Di did it all i Maya 4.5, i was doing a course for animation but they only did 3dsMax _O: so just be wary....

Yea, i think my course just uses 3dsmax, but i know a few of the people on it use other things like maya and xsi and that, I suppose its all the same if you know the basics

True, it all comes down to personel prefrence, i just found Max too fiddley & inaccurate to use for my own personal taste. i got a copy of XSIe awhile ago, been meaning to try it, might do that soon when i get some time sigh... but for now i am quite content with maya.
