Well, the general rules to go by are: You have the color of the object you're drawing,

the color of the light hitting it, and the color of the shadow. Color itself can be warm or cool and dull or vibrant.

And whatever color the light is, the shadow is opposite and vice versa. So, if the light is warm the shadow will be cool, not like BLUE, just on the cooler side. :>
