...Accidentally stepped into a faerie ring several months ago.
I'm still trying to remember why they kicked me out after stealing my clothes, shaving my head, and leaving me with a most wicked hang-over...

glad you like my snakeskin and my feather pendant; thanks for noticing! i'm a big george r.r. martin fan, too....the wait for the next book and the hbo series is killing me!

You're welcome, and thanks for sharing! I really like the double jump ring on the feather pendant, and showcasing the snake skin like that is a very cool idea!
eheheh...I'm really glad that I didn't start reading GRRM's work until recently ~ waiting several years for A Dance of Dragons would drive me crazy. I can say without hesitation that he is my most favorite author of all time. As for the HBO series ~ I'm a little excited, but I'm trying not to expect much. Books are almost always better than TV/movies...but hopefully this will be okay.

i understand your trepidation- but i am hopeful they won't distort it in a way that sucks! they've already cast sean bean as ned, and that is a good sign i should really re-read everything, but i'm so busy and the books make me forget all else ;]

Ha ha ~ That's precisely why I read those books = to forget all else.
I need to re-read everything also, but first I must steal the books back from various family members who are similarly addicted...

You're welcome!
I really love how the base of the fruit bowl is asymmetrical and flowing. It's a simple design, but I can't stop looking at it!
And the spoons are fantastic! I like how each one is a bit different ~ what kind of forging technique did you use?

Thanks again!
Ah, about the forging technique... I don't know how to describe it. I had a round steel rod that I hammered against the anvil like any other forged work. Made the rod wider and narrower at the right spots.

Ah, thank you ~ I was just curious.
I haven't worked much with metal, but sometimes I wish I knew more about it...

You're welcome! I really love the hula hoops ~ not your average spiral design. I don't know much about photography, but I'm assuming the red filter/contrast change is what gave the shot a "retro" feel? I like that, too

I've never seen flowers included in ironwork fencing before! Little details like that remind me of why I love cemeteries so much...

I just really like the variations in those pendants ~ they're very interesting. And the "war ball" looks a lot like sea urchin remains...

Domo!
The U.F.O. underwater really caught my eye, and the fishes remind me of Sorayama Hajime's work...
I can't believe that you got negative comments from other people about the model of the hearse. I love hearses so much ~ I think I'd take any model as long as I could have one...
Anyway, the airbrushing was really awesome - I've never seen a hearse fully decorated like that. Thanks for posting that pic!!

Well thank you so much. I know what you mean about the negative coments...I couldn't believe some people thought it didn't look that great. I mean it might not be a newer model but sheesh look at how it looks. -laugh- And you're welcome I suppose

Hai! Thank *you* for posting the turkey vulture pic ~ I absolutely love them!
One of my favorite features in Japanese gardens are the stone lanterns, especially if they have moss on them. Sorry for the wishful thinking, but the only thing that could have made your photo better would've been some dew ~ then that nifty spider web would be more visible...
Great photos!

Domo!
I think Ichimaru-sama and Kira-kun would make a very interesting couple. I mean, the seme/uke relationship seems pretty obvious, but unlike most uke I've seen ~ Kira-kun has his moments of badass-ness...
Anyway, I like how even though Ichimaru-sama isn't completely in the picture - you just know it has to be him. Great job!
