Thank you, that made me blush a little bit. We didn't have much to work with. A bruise kit, nose putty, liquid latex, and some fake blood from corn syrup. Thank you once again.

most welcome, your work is an inspiration to me, as a bone collector i have been dying to combine the bones with the dolls. i love the way you have done this, its so scary!

Thank you that means alot I'm hoping to carry on the idea of using bones as a subject but incorporating other subjects in aswell, and on a 2D surface rather than on the doll, but that's still in the planning stages. I've always been fascinated by bones and terrified of dolls so they just came together in my mind! I love your photography too there's some amazing colours and compositions - really beautiful and haunting!

thankyou so much. im trying to be more creative with the dolls rather than just with the photo's in the future. the next 3 im doing are all vintage dolls which will have outside elements added to them. i was thinking of your photo's today, how convincing they are, i really belivev those two were walking along, having some sunday afternoon conversation!

I can't wait to see the results! It's taken me a few attempts and versions of the dolls to get to where I am now, but I'm really pleased with the garden photos, alot of the lighting/compositions where chance mixed with rough planning [the complete opposite to my normal working methodology] I'm a firm believer of the notion that the more ordinary/everyday/realistic something is the scarier it will be! films like 'Rosemary's Baby' 'Blair Witch' and 'Stepford Wives' scare and unnerve me because they're set and played out like a normal everyday scenarios which heightens the horror - it could happen in your neighbourhood!! So I've tried to carry that across into my work trying to paint the dolls as accurate and realistic as possible then put them in a familiar ordinary environment... The Munster and Addams Family were also big inspirations - I liked how they didn't consider themselves anything other than just another typical American family or any different from the rest of the neighbour hood, that always made me chuckle as a kid

thats very true. alot of people bagged the blair witch but i thought it was very origional and effective, and i adore the adams family, its always been my goal to do my own house up like theirs, i love it. will you be doing more dolls soon?

I thought the Blair Witch and the way it was marketed/promoted was a work of sheer genius! I will more than likely do more dolls in the future, I really enjoy doing them! I'm currently working on getting some exhibitions for the ones I've got done and the photos of them, but bones will play apart in my next series of work
