Yes, I've heard of those Canadian bands. I don't personally think they're good at all, with the slight exception of Our Lady Peace's first album, which was decent, but still nothing special for me.

As far as Canadian music goes, I like Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Do Make Say Think, Fly Pan Am, Sloan, The Pursuit of Happiness, Thrush Hermit, Eric's Trip, Skinny Puppy, Tricky Woo, A Silver Mt. Zion.

I wasn't bashing you. The only thing I would ever "bash" is the mentality people on the Internet always seem to have that, if one is not kissing your ass, one is "bashing" you. I think people look far too hard for fights on the Internet.

First of all my comments were in play with Kiwi - not directed to you at all so please - calm yourself.

1) It's Fruitsnackz not Fruit_snackz
2) Good for you I don't really care where you live hun
3) Everyone I PERSONALLY know from Athens is not IN THE LEAST artistically based hence my comment which was in jest as previously stated.
4) I don't care about the states and their artist based communities - I'm Canadian. And no that's not meant to sound bitchy or angry at your country of origin or terrorist-esque. I'm merely stating my opinion.
5) Have you ever heard of Our Lady peace, I Mother Earth, The Matthew Good Band, Econoline Crush, Avril Lavigne, Sum 41, The Tea Party?? They're Canadian and they're really good.
6) Yes I've been there. Lots of times. As previously stated I have a lot of friends there and in the surrounding area.
7) If you have something to say to me please leave your comments on MY page or note me. Don't leave comments directed at me on someone else's page. I find it rude and annoying. I prefer to have people bash me to my face.

Thank you for taking the time to critque my poem. And I don't write them about dark topics just because people say they're good. I don't write my poems for anybody but myself. I just have chosen to share them with the people around me. I'm not offended in any way that you said it looks like the poetry you wrote in high school. You seem to be a photographer...not a skilled poet. And you are looking into the technicals of poetry. A pet peeve of mine. I don't conform to the "rules" of poetry and you have to have an imagination and some in-depth thought to understand my poetry. Obviously you don't seem to possess that. People love my poetry, not just here on deviantart but at home and at publishing companies. I just thought you would like some feedback.
