No problem.. I liked "Modern Living in Detroit" for two reasons, actually - The building reminded me of the house I grew up in, and I love the 'message' that I got from it.. Modern living isn't really as 'modern' as we'd all love to think in certain cases... Poverty and suffering isn't just in third-world countries - it happens everywhere, every day, all of the time, but people don't usually realize pain and neglect unless it's happening directly to them, unless they see a photo like this one..

My 'intent' with such photos is to give a realistic image of how life still is for many here. I'm not picking on Detroit by any means because I was born in Detroit and feel strongly connected to it.

Thanks.. I've had a dA before, a loooong time ago, but I never did much with it, and eventually they deactivated it or something.. At any rate, I should be doing alot more with this one... Lately, I've had a weird little spurt of inspiration somehow.. :) (Smile)

No problem, and thanks.. I've had a dA before, a loooong time ago, but I never did much with it, and eventually they deactivated it or something.. At any rate, I should be doing alot more with this one... Lately, I've had a weird little spurt of inspiration somehow, and you'll probably see alot more deck designs and such. :) (Smile)
