Thanks to u 2! I dont really have many people watchin me so it means a lot :) (Smile) And ur stuff is really impressive!! Macro photography fascinates me XD What kinda camera do u use? Erm also, u wldnt by chance know whether digital macro is any good or not would you?

actually, all of my work is done digitally. generally, it's not the digital/film difference that determines the quality of the macro shot, but the lens quality. for instance, Nikon lenses are generally very good at capturing macro shots. i personally use a Nikon Coolpix 5200; if you'd like a recommendation, try the 7MP CoolPix 7200, or even the 5200. both are fairly affordable and have fantastic macro capabilities, however, i bought mine mainly for its size - about 2 decks of cards, stacked. i'd recommend digital macro because of the ease of use over film (you can take as many experimental shots as you need without wasting film), but ultimately, film is of the better quality.

Cool... I just got a canon IXUS 700 or Powershot depending on the country.. I was just messing around with it and noticed that it said digital macro and assumed that this might simply mean a software driven macro capability (shows my knowledge of the workings of my camera :P (Lick) ).. Thanks a lot for the tip :) (Smile) I guess ill have to start practicing my macro skills!
