Haha Hi Crys, long time no see!  Lol.

Life is a lot more complicated than it was back then, must say!  I have a fiancée and a 16 month old son, who is wonderful and amazing.  We are currently more or less struggling for income and are really depressed at the place we are now, so we're just trying to find a better situation to live in, which is easier said than done obviously.

Oh rock bottom is a friend of mine he lives in the place above me, too.  Lol.
I'm trying to not let myself get muddled up in my depression, and to try and break out of it sometimes when I can, and get some things done.
We are trying to keep our heads high when we can, and doing what we can to try and move forward... seems like we keep being jerked around though.
People keep making it seem like they're going to help us and then it ends up being a huge game/joke and we are back to where we started, feeling
hopeless and helpless and desperate again.  I (actually, both of us I think) have (rather sadly, tbh) decided not to get our hopes up or get excited for things anymore,
because every time we get our hopes up and are so sure something is going to change for the better in our life it's snatched away or we are made to feel crazy for
ever thinking it was a possibility.   It's like people think we don't deserve to be treated like family, or decent human beings honestly.  It's like because we need help,
we don't deserve it, is how people seem to see us.  No matter how much they know about our mental and physical health, and capabilities, etc. and in depth reasoning
and back stories for all of it, they still can't figure out that 2+2 doesn't equal 5, and in fact is 4 instead, as we'd been trying to explain to everyone the whole time.

and thanks, btw!  I know right things change so quickly.  I remember when Ixyra got married and I was like woah dude you're younger than me what's going on!!!  but I'm happy for her, of course.

it's prolly cheesy and something you hear a lot, but i can't put into words how much i understand and sympathize with the whole situation. once dad was laid off and the bank foreclosed the house under us after lying to his face about helping us with the mortgage(to stall for time to foreclose ), we had to move in with mom's parents. pawpaw passed a few years ago(we've been here five), and ever since things have gotten worse because my grandmother is a begrudging piece of crap who literally treats lying, thieving strangers better than she has EVER treated my family-- her daughter's family. my uncle has gone batshit crazy and has been letting these idiots in to live with us when my grandmother wont allow me to stay in the empty spare room in the house. but strangers can! who end up getting into brawls in the dead of night and knocking huge holes in the wall. and then being allowed back in the house. but not her grandchild. LOL
dad hasn't been able to find a consistent job in over five years. he had a contract for a year, but that ended last year. things literally only keep sliding downhill. we're back at the point to where me and dad are donating plasma as our sole way of getting a little bit of cash, and he can't always donate cause his pulse is normally too high from stress. i'm getting dangerously close to being unable to myself.

i hit my wits end months ago. not only all the real life stuff, but online drama with people and losing friends and closing myself off. man, things are a hoot 'round here all around. lD oh, and neither of my parents have any sympathy for me and yesterday mom told me i had no reason to be exhausted but dad does, despite me literally giving my blood to support the family what tiny bit only i can do most of the time. so yeah!

it's only natural to eventually just stop keeping yer hopes up. but there's no reason to not feel a little hopeful. just be very cautious with it. if something seems promising, think that maybe there's a shot it could work, but don't bet on it. that way you still get that tiny boost of optimism, rather than constantly putting it down and making yerselves feel worse. though that's hard after so long of being abused and stomped on and thrown away, i get that. i, myself, aren't hopeful about jack all, and i don't look to the future at all anymore. took six/seven years to get down this deep. i hope you aren't as low as i am. i'm glad you have yer baby boy and yer fiance as comfort and support. i don't have a single soul in the world in real life for that.

so i totally get it. just don't totally give up hope. use it warily, but still use it. it'll help keep you more perked up than you know. i do wish you guys the best and hope you can catch a break sometime soon. the people who deserve it most get it eventually, just takes working through the ups and downs and continuing to soldier on. ya'll can do it. i'm hopeful for you!
