Sorry if I seem nosey. But I couldn't help but read your comment on sanely_insanes latest juornal. I too have been practicing using my thrid eye charka. And from tests I've taken its the most open chakra I have. But I need to learn how to use it I geuss. I havn't seen things since I was smaller but I can sense things like no tommorow. I can't even where my hair up at home and other places becuz it feels like their staring me down. Any help?

I use alot of mediation and focus. What helps me most is visualization.
Ex: As I mediate, I pick an element most comfortable to me (its usually water, ice, or mist, since im a Cancer). I visualize that element doing what I need of it - if im feeling lost or out of touch, I focus on bringing in the tide, so to speak, or if im "frozen", i sit and let it melt. But sometimes, if im angry, I visualize fire (though not the best, its effective) and lash it out.
Once Ive done that (I only have to do it every now and again, ive done it so often its second nature now), you can focus on what you need to see with your Eye. For me, when im ready, it tingles, lol.
