Hmm, as for groups, do you see the top navigation bar? It's the dark green bar. There, you can see "More" in white letters to the right of the search bar. Hover over "More." You will see "Groups" on the top right of the floating menu. Click on "Groups" and search for groups that match your interests! FantasticArtists is one group, for example. Or you can search for anime like Naruto and find ones to submit your cute chibi Gaara to.
I submitted your fairy fox to FantasticArtists for you-- you can see the notification on the very far right. It's an icon of an open envelope with a little cable. If you hover over the icon, it says "correspondence." Click there to accept the invitation to submit your art to the group.
Check to see what the group rules are, and then enjoy! This tutorial shows you how to join and submit art to a group: fav.me/d2z576b <-- highly recommended
But in short, you can do it like this:
To join groups: select a group you like, like BornForArt
Click on it.
Under the group icon (the picture), you can see information like how many members are in the group.
Click the "Join our Group" icon.
It says "Request to join group" in a dialog box.
You don't usually have to write anything.
Click "Submit Request."
Refresh the page; most groups are usually "automatically accept" members.
