Hi, saw some of you're 3d art, the hard surface models look cool. Could you tell me what me what software did you use to make the hard surface models? especially I'm reffering to models like the "D9 Arc Gun". Any chance Softimage was used there? Or was it other software?

I use 3ds Max. The arc gun was a highly detailed texture and was rendered with VRay. Hope this helps

Hi Paul,
Apologies for not crediting you for the Reese picture. The tshirts i put up were rough mock up designs i was thinking of painting about a year ago, and I only ever put them up here to get feedback from a friend (another big terminator fan). I was ultimately going to use the same reese still as a 3 layer stencil airbrushed onto the shirt, but was too lazy at the time to make my own to show my friend, so lifted yours as an example.
Sorry for not name checking you. I usually do link to other work when i've used textures or stock in something, I don't know why i didn't link yours at the time.
Again, I'm sorry if you or anyone else thought i was taking credit for your (excellent) work and passing it off as my own. That was definately not my intention
Keep up the good work anyway. And Sorry, again!
Phil

My next one will be a real toss up...because of the slight nudity I fear that it will not be accepted by You Tube although some of my other art so far has remained on there but not for long I fear...and I hate to do a censored version...lol. Thanks for the stopping by and all the super duper kind words...it really made me smile. Art is just fun...ain't it?

Hi, that's a nice predator costume you got there...really nice, what did you make the skin out of? Would really like to know :3
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
paulelder In reply to Darkmessiah999 [2009-11-15 02:45:19 +0000 UTC]
The skin was made out of a latex covered long sleeve sweatshirt and shorts with a rubber chest piece custom airbrushed and hot glued on. I then sewed on the armour and sealed it all with a sealant called Krystal Klear. Hope this helps
