Not really, but I wish. I need much less distractions such as notifications and life concerns (such as others wondering if I'm okay or if I finished something important, yet), as well as the right tools for art. I'm sorry for being idle. T_T

Well, are you alright, for the time being?

Not really. From 2006 to 2012, I was a night owl, but parents put me on medications to be "normal" and invert as early bird. Parents and others constantly notified me, making my irritability go up. Social gatherings also are killing my hobbies. T_T

(Sends love <3 to parrothead. I dislike the so-called "real-world" sometimes)

Do you know Chidori's English name from Spin Six?

Spin Six is one of the games found in the GBA title, Nonono Puzzle Chailien.

Yes, I know that, but the team who translated Spin Six for DSiWare did not use romanizations of the original Japanese names.
For example, Aochan (γ’γͺγγ£γ³)Β became Li'l Blue in the European version and Nto (γ³γ) became 'Umm'. My question is "was Chidori's (γγγͺ)Β Japanese name localized instead of simply romanized?".
If you finish a Spin Six puzzle there's a chance that one of the Chaliens will give you a message, so it's possible that Chidori might say something, and that way it may be possible to find out whether Chidori's name was localized.

Whoa. I didn't know that you have aΒ DA account. I met you before at some forums, but I don't remember which.

I'm sorry, but I haven't heard about this series before and would rather not invest my time in it.
Your Wiki looks great so far. I like the detailed history section on the Main Page and it seems to me that the current articles provide a decent introduction to the games.

Hey Parrothead, I remember there was a Japanese Starfy flash (or was it Java) game. I found it ages ago after clicking a small icon of Starfy on a Google Image search for γΉγΏγγ£γΌ.
I think you had the highscore. I can't remember the link though. Do you happen to know it, and whether the game is still online or not?

Kind of okay. Whether stolen or not, no matter how well fan arts of lesser known video games are drawn, they'll never catch much attention.

Yea, I know what you mean about the lesser known games. That's frustrating.
I've been doing okay since my mom passed away in February. I'm working as a vet tech now, it helps me cope with what I'm going through.

Thanks for the tip!
I searched for γΉγΏγγ£γΌ and it brought up various artwork I'd never seen before.
That really made me smile.
I really like the looks of this one, [link] . The detail is impressive. Must have felt really rewarding for them.

Wow! That's pretty impressive! Pixiv is the same website where I found the Tomato Adventure artwork at.
When adding company names like "Data East", and comparing pixiv's to deviantART's, pixiv's looks superior.

parrothead1983 In reply to PaperMatt202 [2009-03-01 03:13:36 +0000 UTC]
His name will no longer be spelled "Stafy". When he approaches the North American shores, let's hope the game sells well, so we can have more games in the series whenever they are developed and released. Let's also hope the series doesn't end up like the MOTHER/EarthBound series.

Yeah, I know, that kind of sucked for me. I know I'll by it, and I'll encourage everyone else who has a Nintendo DS to buy one, too.
We can only hope.

Not only we need to buy Legendary Starfy, we also need to buy Retro Game Challenge, because it's based on an interesting Japanese show called GameCenter CX (known outside of Japan as "Retro Game Master"), because both the game and the show are fun, and they need to bring the show onto DVD and release the sequel to Retro Game Challenge.
