You're welcome! Yeah, I love painting food. :) (Smile) Thanks for all those favorites too. I guess I am doing realism, but I actually would like to loosen up more and be more impressionistic. But being a perfectionist is a habit tho, so it's challenging.

Yeah It's so hard to actually make the picture to look exactly like one wants it to be. Especially for perfectionists. I myself am trying for realism, but I'm still not close enough, I don't even know what I'm doing right now. Your awesome food paintings are inspiring me to try to do something like that for a change instead of my usual silly portraits. :) (Smile)

They aren't silly--you are really good. I used to try to paint people, but they ended up looking like wax figures instead of real people. It's funny, the first person I ever drew in pencil was David Bowie back in the 1980s. I really liked him in high school. Anyway, I hope to learn how to paint skin in a more colorful way someday. But I have improved a lot in the last 2 yrs from watching YouTube videos. I notice you are really good with the range of values, which I think is the most important thing to get right. Hopefully we both improve more in the directions we want :) (Smile) Watching other peoples drawings and paintings helps me the most, that's were I learn, I have no art education at all, and I started drawing a few years ago (David Bowie was the first thing I drew as well Looking back at those horrible first attempts I have definately improved a lot too. I guess practicing really works! Good luck with your paintings as well Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance!
