I do like your game Memento Dears, but my version (downloaded from your website) has a glitch in it. I can't do a thing at the school scene on Monday the 28th (I believe). I have version 0.26. Is there a newer version where you fixed the bug?

Oh PS: I am making a visual novel game myself. I am at the assembly stage (aka I have the music/plot/dialogue/art Is just need to put it together), but I can't find a VN maker that I like. I don't have flash, since I don't have the money to buy it. What did you use?

Hey,

Thanks for letting me know! Im working on an update to fix those bugs.

A lot of stuff went wrong because I chose to step out and create a custom style engine

I suggest you use a well established visual novel engine. Have you heard of ren'py?

Its free and very easy to use. It does a lot of the things needed for visual novel style presentation.

You can export to windows, mac, android and linux (I hope they also make an ios exporter too,

one is currently in the works I think)

Im currently making a rebuild of this game in renpy because its much more streamlined.

The program I used to create my current game was Multimedia Fusion 2. Its a visual programming

application that builds any kind game for flash, PC, ios, android, xna, and html5. Its easy to use and doesn't

require code knowledge. It costs money though.

Ahhhhh..... I tried Ren'Py, but I don't like the fact that the game menus/convo box isn't customizable. I've been trying out Novelty and it's okay so far... though I'm not sure it will completely do what I wish. If push comes to shove, I'll use Ren'Py and just deal with it.

The reason why Ren'Py is so difficult for me is because I'm not just doing a NV... it's a labyrinth and puzzle game as well. Python helps me with the puzzle game parts, but it's kind of tricky after that.

I started trying to learn art when I was about 13-ish, I think. Im twenty-something now so over a decade!

Im definitely not done learning either. I guess its important to always try new stuff and techniques,

thats what helped me so far. You'll definitely improve with time and patience.
