You should really take into account of what Sunako has been through. Her backstory is absolutely heartbreaking—having to suffer through the prices of her immortality, hurting others, even though her birth family's reason for it was so they could keep her alive and they were willing to go to extreme lengths, and now this idea is literally the only thing she has left.
Call me sympathetic for her, I get it.

Already posted the 5th chapter, the one with Megumi's human death is coming soon. Slowly building up to the main changes to the original story.

slow buildup is good, but it might be more effectievv if your chapters were a few thousand words as opposed to a few hundred

I try to make them as long as I can, without just going on and on. Besides, I'm trying to build to the biggest twists from the original story. For now, just keeping the source material mostly intact, with only minor changes. Not the real MEAT of the story yet.

as for the chapters, each one is about 500-800 words from you right? just write two and smoosh tehm ino one chapter if that mskes it easier

I haven't gotten past chapter 1 to be honest. But there are reasons behind my idea. There will be some censoring(No genitals shown). Not focusing on porn, I'm doing it more like the sex scene from "The Terminator", Romance-based. And the same result happens.

trust me, the story picks up, especially since megumi comes in round chapter 2-3, as far as the sex scenes go, do whatever you think is best, everyone likes a nice lemon, especially one that isnt yaoi.....fucking yaoi has poisoned the shiki fandom

youve been waiting since around christmas lol thats when my last update was. im not sure when the next cluster of updates will be but maybe in a week to a month, i tend to update it in bursts....but still yaoi has poisoned teh fandom, ive got nothing against it, but it gets frustrating when slash and yaoi are the majority of the ssshiki fics

just write it and keep updating it and people will follow it, there is no trick to getting it done faster, generally for shiki expect one new follower every two weeks, but since your story is rated m and wont be seen as much, id say more like one every month. and dont worry abut joking with me lol, ii dont get offended, i hate political correctness.

It happens when a Shiki stops clinging onto their humanity. A slow, horrific Transformation occurs(a scenario reminiscent of "The Fly"), so it's a blend of Psychological Horror, Romance, Drama, Mystery, Supernatural Horror, and—for the Strigoi—Body Horror. Just figured that it needed a nightmarish twist near the end.

His appearance will be almost Identical to Iris from "Gamera 3". Strigoi are superior to even Jinrou because a wooden stake can't kill them, nor can they be decapitated(joints stronger than steel)or cremated by sunlight. And here, Strigoi can adapt to almost anything, including fire.
