Thank you for inviting me, Todd.

I did want to ask you something semi Fantasy related. When you posted the textures for the Mil Subdragon, I think you forgot to post the texture for the dragon's body, or did I miss something? I also wanted to ask were you thinking about posting any of the other textures that you did? That is the one character that just doesn't seem to have very many textures for it. Anyway, I was just asking.

You should have a link to it from a post I sent last night. Here's what happened: When I uploaded the dragon's skin I uploaded in a group's gallery so it never appeared in my own. So you can just use the search by entering my Username or I can re-up the image. People from that group got all of the images but not my fans so I'll make it up to them today.

You're welcome. I thought I had done it before, as you are one of my favorite artists, and have been practically since I first picked up Studio, and 3D art in general. That was one of the things that sold me on it so quickly, was because of my love of Star Trek.

mdbruffy In reply to nvoracle [2013-04-07 18:11:06 +0000 UTC]

Well. thank you. Hope you'll give the new book "Timespot" a try. It's like "Treasures" it's a novella instead of a graphic novel.

nvoracle In reply to mdbruffy [2013-04-07 18:20:42 +0000 UTC]

I will. I downloaded them, both, just a few minutes ago. I missed the first one, 'Treasures', when it first came out. I was in a situation where, although I had access, daily, to a computer, it wasn't mine, and I didn't have a thumb drive to save it on at the time. I've had my computer back for a while, now, and I thought I had saved it, apparently I hadn't, but now I've corrected that, so it's all good.

mdbruffy In reply to mdbruffy [2013-04-08 01:40:39 +0000 UTC]

Glad you liked them. They were both stories that came to me after "Special Report" was already planned. There just wasn't room in the graphic novel, so a novella seemed the only way to go. In the case of "Treasures" I wanted to lay the ground work for stories that come later, plus, without it, Kang's mission really wasn't over.
In both cases- Like "Special Report" They were stories that helped clear the deck and allow the characters and their situations to move forward.

nvoracle In reply to mdbruffy [2013-04-08 01:19:36 +0000 UTC]

Oh, I will. Actually I already have. They both were terrific reads, and helped fill in some of the details that you hadn't put into the Graphic Novels. I was actually going to ask why Kang had assassinated the Ambassador, but then I read the Novel, and it made sense why he would have assassinated the Ambassador. I figured it was because the Ambassador had tried to kill Kang, or maybe Jan, or Spock, or Tam, or one of the higher ups from Starfleet or the Union President, or somebody like that.

I loved Tam's first away team mission, and how she had helped the team, and had to make that gateway so that they could escape the earthquake, and how her Captain had already known about her gift. I wondered who had told him, but figured it was either Grand Admiral Stryker, or Uncle Frank, or Aunt T'Pel, or someone like that. Glad that the guys on the team could keep her secret. Then she saved the little girl's life, and all those years later, the little girl goes to the Academy, and get's posted to Tam's ship, where Tam is Captain. Very cool.

There's a knock on your door. What looks like an adorable little cat girl has come calling. She tells you the world is in great peril. The only way to save it, you have to put on a maid outfit with cat ears. Are they magical? She's not telling, she says there's no time.

Will you answer the call? Will you don the cat ears and wear the maid outfit of what could be a superhero? Or will you just shoo away this poor crazy little girl? [link]
