right okay so, this is gonna be long and jumbled but just stay with me here
cyrus realized that Jonah isn't a good person to have a relationship with because andi started dating him and it wasn't a healthy relationship cuz "ew labels gross" so they broke it off and are kinda like friends with benefits but it's pg? they're like heckin 8th graders in this soooo
so ambers like "I think I'm bout to S T E AL" and starts dating him and has a redemption arc, she's now a good person and good buds with andi, Buffy doesn't like this but then Marty from the party and her have a little romantic tension and by the series finale they get together (Muffy for life)
Andi applies for an art school and gets in! we stan!
jonah... exists and breaks up with amber because he needs some growing up smh
bex, who opens a makeup/styling store with cece, and bowie get married (they're like my second fave ship) and they're very much adorable, cece gets a redemption arc, Ham disappears cuz the actor for him got arrested for arranging to have *relations* with a 13 yr old... yikes...
and now Cyrus. He meets this dude on Buffy's basketball team named TJ. TJ is mean to Buffy cuz "ew girls" and Buffy doesn't like him. Cyrus's like "hey buffy maybe there's something going on with him" and TJ and Cyrus have a bond throughout two seasons. Apparently, TJ has a learning disability (which is great for Disney because they're bringing more situations to light good job Disney) and Cyrus helps him. Buffy then forgives TJ for being a jerk and he then has another redemption arc. Season 3 rolls around and this rude chick named Kira tries to woo TJ over. Cyrus has already came out to Andi, Buffy, and Jonah but not to TJ which adds a little bit of tension. TJ sees that Kira has been mean to Cyrus's friends and especially to Cyrus so he's like "haha nope" and slides away from that relationship ASAP. Fast forward to some scenes and we get to the series finale. They have a little heart to heart moment alone on a bench in front of a firepit at Bowie and Bex's wedding party at Andi's house. They then confess their feelings for each other and then hold hands and smile and stuff and it's SO. HECKING. CUTE. Just look up the scene on YT, I cried a lot during that scene because it made me sooo happy to see my gay boys happy and Disney to represent the LGBT+ community (sorry my thoughts are jumbled and this sounds kind of ranty)
so yeah uh Disney said "gay rights" and since the show is cancelled, Freeform or Hulu may pick it up. Good stuff. Joshua Rush and Luke Mullen deserve the world ngl
