well, let me tell you the story of my people...
i was, unce opon a time, a member of a certain chemical forum, and it was my life because chemistry is teh hax (really coz i had no life lol)
and my password was nitromethane
...
years went by, and many great and lame things came to pass, untill one day it is a video of YouTube that i decided to watch, but the stupid YouTube put an age restriction on it! so i made an account and decided to call it nitromethane, but that was already taken... so i moved up the series with nitroethane and nitropropane - TAKEN
i did not have a monopoly on that kind of thinking it seems
BUT, nitrobutane, the next substance in line, was free! joy!
and so i became - nitrobutane of YouTube

...then, after a further many years of red and blue, sweet and sour, north and south, one day, i ran into an exact same situation on Deviantart! a pretty little picture, blocked by the stupid censoring fools!
thusly i did what i did on YouTube, and chose the same username because... eh why not
as for nitrobutane itself, it's somewhat in between nitromethane (the car enthusiasts' 'nitro') and petrol. if you drank a whole cup of it, i'd wager good money that you'd die

"knirps" is a german word for tiny, small, and it kinda sounds like part of my actual name, so a friend calls me that sometimes to annoy me, since i'm kinda short in comparison to the rest of my family (they're all giants, all around 1.90m but not me, i'm ONLY AVERAGE) but whatever.

and it wasnt taken yet, and I prefer names with a history to ones like eg... dragonslayer_94 or silversnowprincess_123 or sparklyvampireluvr... XD
