How's Blood of War looking? You should definitely get back to me when life allows. I've got this investor interested in helping me fund some webcomic action and start building on an ezine platform that will launch even bigger projects. Not sure if you have the time or interest or a title you'd like to see go viral, but that's what were shooting to do.

Hey, sorry for the late replay. Work get in the way ... you know how it is.

The Blood of War is going slow but still pushing on. I also created some fan art to sell with my own characters, just to mix it up a bit.Ā

That sounds interesting, what's the catch? I don't know much about investments but I remember that there's always some kind of catch.

How is your stuff coming out?

ChosenDefect In reply to nel9784 [2013-11-13 03:03:48 +0000 UTC]

So far the only catch I've ran into is the turn around rate of getting funds, but they are coming. In the long run if all goes well the webcomics and other merch will produce a means for this whole adventure to pay for itself. So far working on a website though, got three comics heavy in the works, and three more on going webcomics that will be debuting before the end of the year if all goes well with getting more income in to toss at artists for pages.

Currently just trying to find all the help I can to cook up concept stuff for these three different worlds. Been hashing out five hundred years of timeline for one, got 2000 years roughly to hash out for another, and characters, crazy tech, monsters galore for all three.

nel9784 In reply to ChosenDefect [2013-11-14 06:10:23 +0000 UTC]

oh yeah, that's cool. If you want any monsters or character to be drawn out let me know I'll help you out.Ā

Im up to the website thing too, I have 3 samples of how my web comic will look like from simple to advanced ... I just chose the most simplest for now.Ā

I have issue 0 and 1 drawn out, but I'm thinking the web and app should be B&W and the comic it's self should be colored. Do you think that's a good idea to do?

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

ChosenDefect In reply to nel9784 [2013-11-18 23:27:39 +0000 UTC]

Definitely, send me a note with your email...thought I had it around here somewhere and I'll shoot you details for some critters and characters. Would also love to see the stuff you have cooking. B&w is a cheaper way to go with prints but if all goes well I don't see why you couldn't tackle printing issues in color as well.

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

nel9784 In reply to ChosenDefect [2013-11-19 16:52:02 +0000 UTC]

I'll shoot you a note ... color would be in print and b&w will just be on the website, the app would have both.

thats very good you should look into the 50mm lens those are amazing. smart choice that nikon camera takes lens without the motor also which is great. i almost bought that one i got the canon ID mark III instead becasue i had a canon already. just remember once you go with one brand you have to stick to it.

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

nel9784 In reply to atorresart83 [2010-06-30 02:16:49 +0000 UTC]

The canon was goin to my second choice if I couldn't get the nikon. Yeah I'll stick with mines...I still playing with it.

nel9784 In reply to HellWingz [2010-05-27 11:30:31 +0000 UTC]

hay whatsup...I do have a question about it,

Is it mobile, like you can go to the kitchen and do some work?

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

HellWingz In reply to nel9784 [2010-05-28 00:57:01 +0000 UTC]

nope has to be hooked up to a hard-drive
and its really big and heavy too

and seeing as how its so expensive its better to just leave it in one place lol
dont wanna risk dropping it

let me know if u have any more questions
ill answer them all

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

nel9784 In reply to HellWingz [2010-05-28 01:47:05 +0000 UTC]

hmm...true that.

what do u mean has to be hooked up to a hard drive....it has to be hooked up to ur own hard drive or does it come with one? Does this mean it has USB ports?

And r u able to work with photoshop on it....do u install it into the WACOM?

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

HellWingz In reply to nel9784 [2010-05-28 03:54:56 +0000 UTC]

yeah it has a usb port
let me put it this way: it is basically a screen monitor for ur computer
the only difference is u can draw on it with ur pen

yes u can work with photoshop or anything else ur already doing with ur computer
think about it this way
you are pretty much making the computer u already have a touch screen computer, kinda like an iTouch or an iPhone
except all of the touching will be done with the pen
hope this helps
