It's oddly nostalgic, in some sense.
Everything changes, everything gets worse, but deviantART just remained as terrible as it was the day I left it. It got slightly worse I think but the terribleness still has the same je ne sais quoi.

Take Tumblr; I make a lot of things that would never get the approval of the stereotypical tumblr user. Yet I never got into any trouble, the horrible part of tumblr never reached me. So I don't notice the bad side of tumblr, I know of it from other people, I know it's there, but it never ended up ringin' my doorbell.
Maybe it will someday, but it hasn't so far.
