I've never been there before, I've always wanted to go though. you're sooooo lucky!!!

I've had to move 15 different times. usually just from city to city in the same state but so far, in the US, I've lived in Alaska, Colorado, Texas, Arkansas, and Kentucky. Not once has my dad been home to help us move out either. Me and my mom, whenever we're forced to move but don't have the money to hire movers, have had to pack up all of our things by ourselves while dealing with three other kids under the age of 12. Military life sucks...

I get along with my dad most of the time when he's home, i think it's better that he's not around much though, he'll drive a person insane, he's almost deaf in one ear so he yells alot so you can never tell when he's mad until he actually gets up and starts using the drill sergeant yell. I hate it when he does that it always makes me cry.

Yuppers he's in the army, he went to fight in the war in Iraq. He was gone for about a year and a half, then he came back having nightmares about the war and stuff, he's got PTSD (i think thats what he called it).
he retires from the army a month before i graduate my senior year in highschool.

I agree... did you know that they actually tried to stop all war, I think it was after world war 1. a treaty was signed saying that war was forbidden caus ethere were too many deaths and injuries. That plan didn't work so well though as you can see. lol

I hate war too it's just a bunch of peoples dying for no good reason. I think adults are more immature than kids are, they sit there and get angry with us when we get into arguements with each other, but when they get into fight with other countries they end up killing each other.

my bf is an anarchist, my dad hates him for it, but it's good for me only cause i know he won't join the army.

Okay ..no I actually didn't know that.
But I guess it would take another worldwar to make such a plan work.

Not only that the adults are much worse when they fight with each other.
They would never listen if anyone tells them to stop.
The war in iraq is the best prove for that.

And yeah.. I'd hate to know that the person I love is at war and could just...like...be gone from one day to the other.

you are so right, I wonder what the world would be like if kids ruled it...
or maybe Near, L matt and Mello could rule it, THAT WOULD BE SOOO COOL!!!

My mom would cry almost everynight my dad was gone. He had to call everyday to tell her that he was ok, if he didn't she'd completely freak out and lock herself in her room. Me and my 3 siblings worried about both of them. We're kinda used to it now though we've had to deal with it all of our lives so it doesn't really phase us. Kids at my school (its a military school, civilians children aren't allowed to go there) don't even saya word when their parents leave, but when i went ot my old school, If someones parent was to leave, they wouldn't show up to school for a day or two and then when they finally when they came back to school they'd breakdown in the middle of class and stuff like that. It's a bit different in a civilian school. I found there i a lot more peer pressure in a civilian school. In military schools, they give you alot of schoolwork trying to keep you from going outside and getting into trouble and stuff. also since the government is in control of the school we have to wear uniforms. I HATE THEM!

mello is sooo cool but you're right he wouldn't make a good ruler. If all the wammy boys were to work together... the world would be in choas,
L would order everyone to give him thier candy, mello would be pissed cause he had to work with Near, Near would enslave the world and make them build a giant toy robot. matt would be all like WTF(matt would be the best ruler in my opinion cause he's the only normal wammy, plus he's smart as hell, he'd probably end up making schools teach about more technological stuff like computers cept in a fun way, like a game since he loves video games, which would definitely make the next generation smarter than us. I wish we had a ruler that was like matt lol <3 My opinion is sorta biased though since matts my favorite character)

you know i'm not really sure... My goal for the future is to become an artist, and a game designer. I also would like to travel, I absolutely love to travel! I just don't like having to pack up and move all of my belongings ever time I go somewhere new.I went on a 30 hour car ride from kentucky, to texas to see my friend and then to colorado to see my boyfrieind and I loved every second of it. I had to pack up a little suitcase and then was on my way to see the people I love. Thats why I wanna come see you guys. Not only do I get to see people important to me but I also get to see new place. People who aren't military children at least the ones I've met, hate to travel long distances.

Guess the same as you... game design. My absolute dream-job.
I want to create worlds or new characters or monsters for games.

YAY we've got alot in common I like learning about peoples lives too, thier hardships, awards they've gotten, it helps me learn about thier personality. Being curios is a really good trait to have, poeple in this world want to belong, they wanna feel like someone is interested in what they have to say, so when you ask about thier lives and actually listen to what they have to say, you become true friends. Like me and you, I consider you to be a really close friend

That doesn't sound silly, Thats the reason I wanna become a game designer too, the little characers are at your mercy you know what that remingds me of Star Ocean Till the End of Time. It's about these video game characters who find out they are in a video game, the creator decides he wants to destroy the game (The game is kinda like Ragnarok if you've ever played on there, I absolutely love it on there I son't like how they changed it to where you can't open the storage for free anymore or how they made the prizes for beating monsters so low though) anyways the characters some out of the game and destroy thier creator and it's sooooo awesome if you've never played it, it's a 200 hour game. I still haven't completely finished it cause i can't beat freya (she's from valkyrie profile) I have about 160 hours on mine. lol I'm so sorry for talking so much, I just absolutely love video games theres like no time in the day that you won't see me near a computer, with a PSP, Nintendo DS, or gamboy advance SP in my hands. I like to play mario on DS, valkyrie profile on PSP, pokemon games and final fantasy on my gameboy. If I'm lucky and can get the PS2 away from my little brother, I'm either playing guitar hero, Kingdom Hearts, or Star Ocean. On my computer I'm either browsing on dA or playing on Ragnarok. what about you?
