Hey, sorry it's taken so long for me to reply, I've been very busy with school, and psychiatrists, and all of the such.

Firstly, I'd like to thank you for the two comments, means a lot.

Secondly, to answer your quesiton, I did not model with nurbs...I can't, don't know how. Basically, I just took a torus knot, made it look a bit different, have more twists, etc, noised, mesh smoothed, bends, twists, then get the camera position to my likings, add an opaque material, non raytraced, then, gave one omni light in the center, that's all I did...really easy.
