Nah, he isn't into games at all anymore. He got NFSU2 for xmas and he's hardly ever played that. I got Jak II - Platinum due to the fact it was well cheap so I could get a load of other things...anyway I completed that about four days ago.
I think he's starting to give in, although I'm not entirely sure.

Yeah, I've read in reviews that the multiplayer is really something special. It's an idea I have for xmas, but I dunno. I think I'll have to play a bit of it beforehand.
Apparently the story is meant to be really shit. Is that true?

Hmmm...I haven't finished the single player game yet but I guess the story isn't great really, it's not too different from the first game's story.
But if you have Xbox Live the single player is not important really, I've spent so long playing it online.

Cool, yeah I'm hopefully gonna get it pretty soon, as long as I don't need to pay the whole £170 as I imagine that would be quite a big dent in the wallet. Oh and I notice you've put it as your fave game! Does that mean it beats Goldeneye as the greatest game ever, or is it just your fave game at the moment??

As for the Goldeneye question I think Halo 2 is better with regards to multiplayer but there's no way I'll replay all the single player levels from Halo 2 as much as I did with Goldeneye...so I guess in that sense it'd be my favourite game at the moment, not sure.
I can't recommend it enough for the online play though, if you have the money you should definitely get it.
My course is going pretty well actually although there's a few too many essays for my liking...only a couple of weeks left though till Christmas and not even one of them is a proper week of uni fortunately.

Cool, yeah all this Halo 2 Xbox talk has gotten me back into Halo PC online multiplayer! It's a lot more fun than I ever remembered. I'm actually not too bad, I get thirdplace most of the time. But seriously, there are a few players who get ridiculous scores like twice the score of the second player...totally unbeatable.
Yeah, at the momento it looks like I'm gonna be going to a college somewhere around/in canterbury instead of carrying on at school. There'll be a load more choice and flexibility going to college rather than staying at school.

Whoa, yeah I checked it out. Pretty short! Yeah I've been meaning to try and hear more stuff by Internal Affairs, would you recommend 'This Is For You? I've heard a few tracks off it: 'Nothing', 'When Tigers Fight' and 'You Lose' and I quite liked them.

Ohyeah, you know that Internet Archive site I mentioned in my journal? Well I entered my site into it and it came up with a result, sometime in March 2004, but anyway when I entered other fellow deviants such as yourself, there weren't any results. Staff and senior members get results, but hardly anyone else. I really haven't a clue how that site operates.

Yeah, I'd definitely recommend it. It's got quite a lot of tracks on - the 1st 7", the tracks from the split with Allegiance, the demo and maybe some others, not sure.
I saw it in Richards Records Canterbury today for like £10 or something...bargain.

Among other things for Christmas, I'm getting 'Take This To Your Grave' by Fall Out Boy. It was a kinda dive as I'm not too sure what all the songs are like. I've heard a number and really like them. Yeah that Fall Out Boy record is brilliant. I bought it a little while ago and didnt really listen to it that much at first but now I love it and listen to it all the time - I've only one complaint about it though and its that theres some crappy screaming in the background to a few of the songs, other than that fine.

hehe, yeah having a few pieces of coursework that are due in the same week isn't great fun, especially when they're extremely boring investigations. Yeah I've heard the essays they set students at university are mega-long.
Oh yeah! I don't think I've mentioned this to you before, the bro's dropped out! He found it incredibly hard so he's taking the rest of the year out doing fuck all, although at the moment he's thinking of getting a job, possibly in tesco... :/

He says he's thinking about going back next year but I don't think he will.
If he were to go next year I think he would be going to somewhere like Canterbury or Maidstone as they're pretty near. The thing is he hasn't got a clue what he wants to study as he didn't enjoy Hispanic Studies that much.

He had to do stuff like translate pieces of literature by people like William Wordsworth, etc. I think above all he just wasn't interested in any of the stuff they were doing. I think he thought it was only going to be the language and grammar aspect like at A-Level.
