XD Well, don't tell anyone, but that picture of the Flareon and CMC sleeping is the picture I was waiting for to post the next chapter of Pokemon! It was done a day or two ago, and I just got the cover art, so it's getting an update tomorrow! (I only finished the chapter, like, 20 minutes ago, and since hardly anyone would be awake now, I'm waiting until tomorrow around lunch time. *Has false hope of an eventual update feature to happen*

Cool! I saw that picture in your gallery and thought it looked like that might be its purpose (well in addition to being perhaps obscenely cute), I didn't realize that it meant that fic was getting an update soon. I'm actually pretty excited for that fic, which is saying something, because I was never a fan of the whole pokemon thing as a kid.

Speaking of which, how are the rest of your fics coming along?

XD Yeah, I commissioned that picture SPECIFICALLY for the fic, so I'm really happy with how it turned out! (Especially since it was fairly expensive. X3)

Glad you're looking forward to it! A lot of people really seem to enjoy it, so it's definitely one I'm finishing for sure! (Unless I, like, die or something.)

The others are... I just haven't worked on them. XD I have a plan, I just... need to be in the mood to write them. XD They're both INSANELY long, epic stories, so I guess, subconsciously, I'm working on the one that seems like it will end sooner, so I have something complete off my plate of things to do? I've always had trouble finishing things I start, because I'm always fascinated by the new, and coming up with new ideas, since I know how things end in my head, etc. But this... This I'm going to finish, and then likely work more on Chocobos and another fic. Nightmares is, really, what I work on when I can't write my other fanfics, but I'm in the mood to write SOMETHING. I guess it's my 'dump' fic, if you will. X3

I would do the same thing. Having several long-form fics going on at once has to be hard, so chopping away at them one at a time sounds reasonable to me. I always tell authors in that situation to do just that, or do short one-shots every once in a while while they are doing it so they don't get bogged down and lose their inspiration. Not to mention it feels nice to actually produce something sooner rather than later.

Even though art isn't really as long of a process as fanfiction writing... at least for me... I often find myself in the same boat. I know there is one request I got for example that I have been (unfairly I suppose) studiously avoiding. Just because I can't muster up the inspiration to do it.

I haven't been on fimfic for a while, so you might have answered this at some point. Did you ever make a final decision about the characters you were going to use in your herd fic? Derpy obviously, but Twilicorn sounded like it might have screwed up your plans to use her, were you going to use Rarity after all? ....*fingers crossed*

Yeah, I'm mostly decided on making it Rarity instead of Twilight. Considering I've also made the final decision on the character for said herd fic, it also fits better, to an extent.
