Thats crap.....Why can't you sue the complex? Knowing that an animal is trapped in the void space above an apartment is a type of animal cruelty. They could be arrested for not making a solid effort to get the cat out. Also they're going to have to cut holes in the ceiling anyway. For as long as he's been up there I'm sure that he has left certain little presents up there to stink up the void space.

he's being a butt. He found a hole in the wall of the apartment and hasn't come down from the ceiling yet, and its been 1 week and a 1/2 XP til he gets out, we can't get our other cat back.

im very sorry but I have no more ideas. Honestly I think you should get a contractor in there to get him out and patch any other holes. Even if your apartment wont like it. You need to get him out. Attic spaces are usually not ventilated and have very little insulation. He could die of heat exhaustion before he starves.

Call animal control for where you live. If your apartment management gets their pants in a wad you could sue them.

Animal control already came. Gave us a better trap and told us to keep doing what we were doing.
