Jason padded in the green, sunny forest, studying the ground for any prey. He hasn't eaten yet today, and was determined to eat.Β
He saw movement, and quickly pressed his body to the ground.
Waiting for its reveal, he slowly started to creep forward, trying to not crack any twigs or leaves. His hunger started pressing onto him, making it hard to concentrate. Sadly, it wasn't autumn either and he couldn't blend in, so he looked like a burden in the world, or a miscolored rock.Β
He couldn't wait anymore. He pushed off his back legs and sprung onto the creature, silencing it with a nip on the neck, then beginning to eat.
He saw another movement.

Jason ignores the movement and gulps down his prey. Rising off from the ground, shaking his fur off, he started to pad forward, searching for a new den that he could live in, or make. (short bc I couldn't think of anything rip)

He follows the animal without it seeing it but accidentally steps on a stick and breaks it {darn} he runs off before the animal can see him

SNAP!
Whipping his head around, he only got a glimpse of a blue, long, sleek tail. He started to run after it, hearing his heart beating loudly, as if it were in his ears. He started to speed up, pushing his legs off of the ground as fast as he could. If he could only catch up to it..
The full body appeared, which looked like a large reptile, such as a salamander standing on its hind legs and had claws, also spiky teeth. Red feathers were layered on the back of its head. It looked nice to eat, he guessed.
Or not, if it was like a frog.
He may just use the feathers for something.
Snapping back to reality, he realized the creature was escaping. Trying to run faster, he also realized his stamina was low. He had to catch up now!Β

the creature flips around and uses what jason now sees to be hors to shove him back then it runs off and quickly tires falling to the ground panting Β and it gets up and hides in the bushes to rest and manages to find water to drink

Jason's eyes saw the creature flip around, then push him away with it's sharp claws. He rolled backwards, but let the creature escape. This wasn't worth his time. He would just have to hunt mice and rabbits for now.
Returning to his original spot, he crept into the den that he found while chasing the reptile. It was like a short ditch in-between some trees. This would have to do. Β Slowly setting paw into the den, soft moss deflated under his paw. He looked around for a place to sleep, since the sky was getting darker. He wanted to avoid predators that might eat him during the night.Β
He found a small hole in the walls of the ditch, it was a little rough, since the ground was bumpy, but it was safe.

Jasen then spots the blue creature walking past most likely searching for food then realises that it does not have any eyes
Jason let his body collapse on the bumpy stone, realizing how tired he was from the chase. It felt like he ran for about 3 hours, though it was worth it. He let his eyes close and let himself drift into the dark abyss of dreams.
He woke up in a strange place, where everything was miscolored, though he couldn't see colors anyways, but he knew it was.
Water was purple, rocks were sky blue and trees and grass were different shades of purple. He didn't understand this, until..
Jason knew he was in a dream. A lucid dream, infact.
