It is a shame. I find a lot of older people know who they are, but dismiss them out of hand, and try to convince me that it's a bad thing that I like them. Doesn't stop me, though! =P (Razz)

My grandmother was actually really happy that I liked them. I don't really get the chance to discuss their movies with anyone so I haven't heard anyone dismiss them. It wouldn't stop me either though! :D (Big Grin)

My grandmother would have loved to watch all the old movies with me, but she died when I was 5. =( (Sad) My mother says I'm possessed, because I play the same sort of music on the piano (the same piano =P (Razz) ), watch the same movies, and can't stand mess – just like my grandmother!
And my other grandmother had bad cataracts by the time I got into old movies – so no luck with old movie sessions there either....
