Nope! But I was happy with the comics, and before the anime Hetalia wasn't quite so popular! Now there are a ton fans running around who don't care about history, which is the heart and soul of Hetalia! The anime sparked a huge wave of popularity that I'm not that fond of!
I was a fan of APH way before the anime. xD; So I do like the comics! Nothing against the anime itself, of course. But I remember barely being recognized at conventions less than two years ago! It's crazy!

Now I feel bad xD;;; I liked history class, all my life. I found it interesting~ most found it as a burden...and my teacher was awesome. I plan on getting books from the library soon to get all informed.
I couldn't agree more with you. The fan base is crazy and tons of people are worried if it'll become another Naruto, which I hope doesn't happen! I don't cosplay much sadly, which is why I love cosplayers <3
I am definetly going to find those comic strips! I have had trouble since my computer is virus protected and prevents me from using most websites XD pfft parents...xD

It practically IS the next Naruto! There are fewer Naruto cosplayers and more and more Hetalia ones! It's... it's a bit sad? I don't know the right word. >u>;

Seriously? More cosplayers than Naruto?! That is hard to beat, and it is a bit frightening...and sad...
I think that as long as the true Hetalia fans are here, the anime will never get ruined. It is hard to ignore the fan base...

D'awww! D: That's too bad! ;~; Here in the midwest there are LOADS of them! I remember at time when it was hard to find another Hetalia cosplay let alone another England! xD When I first saw one I was like, "Whut? 8D" (Incidentally, that cosplayer is now Spain in the WC and a good friend! xD)
Yup. There were only a handful of Naruto cosplayers, and a TON of Hetalites running around! It was strange.

At a con I went to in June, there were a lot of Hetalia people, and ONE Naruto cosplayer. I thought to myself (Wait...there's something wrong with this picture O.o) I was worried I would be the only Hetalai cosplayer XD. They were nice though, and I met a new friend 8D. I went as a very bad Belarus and stalked a Russia with a Pipe XD

America has no ahoge(sp? XD) in the comic strips. That is why in some pictures he doesn't have it.
