Yeah, Knight of Heart sounds perfect, what with all the alliances that were Austria's source of strength back when. I want to say Rogue of Rage for Switzerland, because I recall it was mentioned somewhere that Rogue is a more passive class, and Switzerland is mostly gun-happy for defensive and not offensive purposes. (however it might also have been mentioned that Rogue is a female class. WHATEVER.)

Yeah, Hussie's been pretty good about not letting gender get in the way of things, so it's a shame he suddenly had to go and assign genders to the *classes* of all things. I think this is one bit of canon I'm just going to have to ignore.

And as for the stealing, yeah, you're right... I can see Nepeta as the gatherer-of-hearts-for-others'-benefit, but unfortunately she didn't get enough time in canon to make it clear how her power worked. Pages apparently "start out weak but become exponentially stronger", but Vash was never really weak. Hmm... (I was actually thinking Knight of Rage for Vash earlier, but then what would Austria be?)

I've finally found the update where the classes are a little bit better explained [link] and [link] (it also awners my previous question about rogue/thief thank goodness I will not lose sleep over this after all). So, I'm still not an expert at this but I think Vash should be an active class, not a passive. It's always more about his own profit?
Maybe we should just come up with our own class. Like. Goathearder of Rage. Sounds cool. hmmm...
I honestly... don't know what Rodders would be aside from Knight haha. I mean, prince sounds nice (and gives him pumpkinpants that is so cool right), but Prince is a destroyer class and... All the broken hearts Austria left behind ??? But then he'd "just" be dirk's class and that might be boring?

Blood, um... hmm. Vash might count as a lowblood, but either red or green would work for that. Mutant candy-red contrasts better with his color scheme, but if you wanted to match his design with green blood, he'd probably be between Nepeta and Kanaya...

(what this all goes to say is that I have no huge preference either way, but design-wise I kind of want to go with red)

Yeah, making Vash an active class makes more sense now that I think about it, since 'defending his country' is just... defending himself D: I think Hussie stated elsewhere that classes had to be single-syllable, so what about Guard of Rage (also matches the Swiss Guard)? And Austria can stay Knight that way : o

Yeah, I was tending heavily towards red as well because of peasant-ness. Not Mutant-red though, just Aradia-red. So I'll keep that. Now to make up signs. Rodders has a treble clef, Vash is being difficult again.

And I agree! Vash is no team player, so active is probably for the best. And Guard of Rage sounds pretty cool, go for it!

also important question: what do you need this all for and can I pretty please see the final product once you're done?

Aradia red is cool, yeah. I'd ordinarily go with the square cross, but I guess the problem there is it'll have to match his blood color, and it's supposed to be white D: I dunno if you know of another national symbol that's more appropriate?

(thinking of using a shield-like symbol with the white cross (or a cross shape) in the center, maybe)

Er, my reason for drawing this is pretty much just silly - someone pointed out that half of my galleries' thumbnails were of dudes making out, so I decided to update them with drawings that... weren't. <_< (also I haven't drawn Hetalia in a while and want to see if I've changed any, also, wanted more interesting ideas for my daily sketch)

lol @ Chinese textiles (and yeah, that was a lot of koalas in a very short timespan). I think they were referring to the galleries on the side where I organized pictures by fandom, tho; there certainly were more making-out pictures before I went "oh whoops how embarrassing" and started drawing like mad.

(but aww - we can be woebegone fandom buddies together, and rant about not having enough people in Hetalia/Rockman.EXE/etc. to share with! If that's even a thing.)

Yeah, it was simpler when everyone was in the same fandom, but I guess this sort of interest drift naturally happens, and we have to deal with it however we can (in my case, pouting and drawing the same character for six years). The cross works super well like that in the wings! Way to go and fix the problem stilishly.

I feel like I'll be drawing the same characters in six years, still. With the olympics, I just realized that I've been in this fandom for 4 years now, seeing as Beijing was the beginning of the fandom for me. This is kind of sad in a way oh well.
And bwahahah I will never disapear into the internet without a trace (I am way too easily traceable my usernames are so not distinguishable or anything, right)
